My favourite memory of all time is playing my m8 in a friends tournament on pes 2. I was 4-0 down with 60 mins gone. I was Lazio and he was Chelsea. My friends were all laughing at me and trying to put me off (because im the best) which was annoying but i'd learnt to tune them out. I was playing ok but finnishing chances wasnt my specialty. I battled my way strongly to a 5-4 win scoring 1 on 1s and 2 screamers in the last 10 mins which managed to silence the room aside from me jumping and rolling around the room. That was a good day.

My mate brings his keeper flying out...bearing in mind this was about 26 yards out.....

I take it round his sprinting keeper, turn towards the open goal.....I shoot....

Dying seconds of the match, my mate needs an equalizer, takes a shot with Zidane, tipped onto the bar, bounces twice on the bar, stays there for about 2 seconds, comes down and my keeper is no where to be seen. Headed in by Raul. I lost in the end.

Not the best memory as I was laughed at for the week, but it was sure hella funny.

when i 'scored' a goal against my mate when it cleary went about 3 foot wide replays confirmed it
anyway after pissing myself laughing about it and saying the refs are only human and can make mistakes like anyone else he gave me the ball back after kick off for me to score a own goal and i duly proceeded to rattle his crossbar from 30 yards
he was fuming
i think if it the second shot went in he would rattle me with the control pad

Probably when I was in sixth form and decided for some bizarre reason to go to the sixth form room (theres a special word for it, I can't remember it) where all the biggest cunts from the year would hang out.

They had a TV set-up and some Turkish lad had brought in his PS2 and everyone was playing PES, trying to beat this fella. He was either really good or they were all shite because he was battering them, thinking he was Muhammed-I'm hard-Bruce-Lee.

So I volunteered to play him but he refused at first (We didn't like each other, I had a much better hairstyle). It was PES5, only just come out and I was eager to play on it because I was still on PES4.

Eventually he agreed to play me and to be fair, he ruined me for most of the game. I think he was Italy and I was England. I remember getting an equaliser on stoppage time to make it 1-1 and when the final whistle went, I dropped the controller at his feet.

He didn't like it, he wanted to play ET but I refused. I was already 15mins late for my lesson.

Winning Eleven 7, Henrik Larsson putting 7 past Rangers (7-1 was the final) in the 2nd leg of a cup tie in ML. i won the first leg 8-1.

i used to go round a mates house, 5 or 6 times a week for hours and hours of pro... we absolutley adored kennet andersson and when our master league side started to peak we signed him. we were over the moon, buzzing, couldn't sit still....

so we play the first game of the season and kennet's on a green arrow but the other guys are on reds. we start him on the bench and give him a massive reception when he comes on in the 75th minute. our goalkeeper has the ball and rolls it out to the full back who makes ground until the halfway line. the full back sends a ball forward and big kennet rises with the defender. he manages to flick it on high in the air and as he does, leaves the last defender picking himself up of the floor after being clattered in the aerial ball challenge. kennet runs on to his own flick on, one touch on the knee, and pile's in a 20 yard half volley, top corner.

My best memory.. I think it was one match, it was near the end, I had the ball with Pele, just outside the area, and I'm running -and- I chipped the ball over a defender and then kicked the ball on the touch, Goal!! and a narrow win by 3-2.

I cannot do the same in PES09, mainly because the Dribbling Tricks aren't as fluid.

I was in a Pes 6 tournament on the ps2 at the time about 12 of us armed with beer.
it was all great fun... i won the tournament! (on a random team basis - meaning everygame the teams were picked by randomization luck of the draw)
we all decided to play winner stays on until someone knocked me off the throne!
this didn't seem like it was gonna happen 50ish games in untill (Brazil Vs Czech Rep) ronaldinho ran down the wing and fired an inch perfect cross shot into the far top corner! the whole room errupted!...2 mins left in normal time!..i nearly cried!
and now i still get reminded of it when we play!

still an awesome memory though!

haha, the crowds like the big boys getting beat... i've got a mate who is a bit of a nutter, fighting, jail etc.. and every month we all get together, 7/8 of us, and have a little league for a tenner a man... so on this occasion it was down to me and him for the title. last game is always a 30 min game. everyone watching, total silence.. 0-0. 86 mins i scored. 87 i scored, 2 in 88 and the final nail in 89... 5 - 0... he was going f***ing mental!!! 7 grown men scared sh**less.... i was just waiting for him to smash my telly...

I have two

The first is scoring my best goal ever! Eng vs Italy against my mate at half way line with K Dyer flcksed the ball over the wingers head, ran towards the box and span 360 round a tackling Nesta the fired it from in the box into the net! still savd on my old ps2 mem card to relive the goal every now and then!

Second was a normal match against my freind buy the loser had to ring up to order a pizza, this was a complaicated process as they didnt really understand english. Was 4-3 in the end to my mate but was a good game as it was end to end goal fest!

One of mine is playing 2 vs 2 on PlayStation 2 on PES 2008. It was me and my half-brother's mate vs my cousin and half brother.

We was Arsenal (he supports them where as I am Spurs) and they were... yep you guessed it Manchester United.

Anyway I hadn't lost a 1 vs 1 or a 2 vs 2 since I bought the game (it was about 6 months after it had been bought). They quickly raced into a two goal lead which shocked us because my cousin is shocking, as he dosen't even follow club football.

At half time we were 3-0 down. I think a goal from Rooney, Ryan Giggs and a Vidic header. They were gloating a lot. We had spurned many chances.

After about 75 mins, we finally got one back from a Robin van Persie strike. They seemed confident they could still win. It got to about 80 mins so we substituted Rosicky for Abou Diaby. We struck a second through Kolo Toure's low drive. They seemed on the ropes.

With only about 5 minutes to go, we were dominating them and it finally paid off when the substitute Diaby struck the equalizer in the 90'th minute! After playing a 1-2 with Adebayor. My cousin and half brother were blaming eachother for the demise of Manchester United's 3 goal lead at half time.

While they were arguing, me and Marc (half bro's mate - my team mate) were confident of stealing the victory, and that we did, with 4 minutes added on van Persie was set through by Cesc Fabregas, he (well me controlling him) is 1 on 1 with van der Sar, Vidic and Ferdinand miles behind, has Adebayor in support but chooses to slot home past the hapless van der Sar.

This win kept my record in tact and when the new game was finally released, I remained un-defeated in 2 vs 2 matches and had only 1 defeat during 1 on 1's.


Another one was on PES6, me 1 on 1 with my mate. He was West Ham and I was Spurs.

I remained undefeated against him all through that game. But in this game, I went 2 goals up either side of half time. Mido (who plagued him so much, whenever I was Spurs against him, Mido would play even if he was on a grey - and score at least once).

So Mido headed home number one, then Jermain Defoe strikes home against his former club which he didn't enjoy.

He brings on Teddy Sheringham for the woefully wasteful Bobby Zamora. He has immediate impact, playing in Marlon Harewood to grab one back.

With only minutes to play he is dominating play, and 0 added minutes is shown, much to his dismay. He wins a corner kick in the dying seconds. Roy Carroll is even foward (remember if he wins, it could lead to his first victory against me on this game).

He swings the ball in with Newton, Teddy Sheringham rises so high above everyone else but with the ball is in mid-air, the referee blows the whistle for full time! And low and behold Sheringham smashed home his header to level out the game only for it to be too late!

To this day, he claims he should not have lost but I say otherwise, the referee's decision stands.

My university had a Pro Evo doubles comp at the student union. Got there at 9 and wasnt playing till 10.30 so had a few drinks managed to beat the first team just and then had a 3 hour wait till the next game so got quite drunk.

When our next game was due to start i was 5 mins late and my parter didnt turn up for 10 mins then we drunkly managed a 0-0 with just using one eye becuase i couldnt see and then won on pens! wasnt sure if i was taking them or saving them!

Lost the next game 5-1! got a right bullocking off girlfreind but was a good day!

Struggling as Ivory Coast against Spain...4-2 down in the first half pegged it back to 4-4 and in extra time, my mate scores a rocket with Eboue and it was crazy....we like jumped on him and went mental.
all this just to qualify for the latter stages.
