I've barely played anything that came out in 2012. So Journey is basically number one by default.

Left out things like Goldeneye and Mario games because I simply haven't played them enough to feel like I can warrant their inclusion.

2004, 2007 and 2011 are amazing years. Each have 6 or 7 games that could easily be there. 2005 (surprisingly to me) is also strong considering I left off TimeSplitters Future Perfect & Shadow of the Colossus.
