Teams should be either first come, first serve, randomly assigned, or entirely fictional and randomly populated with 25 players. If people can play with the same teams and players, it'll be utterly pointless.

I dunno, especially in BAL, weak opposition always plays like Barca on uppers! Teams like Roda JC managing 68% possession and stringing together dozens of one-touch half-volleyed passes, insane pressing, perfect last ditch tackles every single time. Goes the opposite way for one's own team, too...

I've had no trouble selling off bad players, it's selling the good ones that seems impossible. Sometimes I don't have time to let their contracts expire, and I'm not releasing players on 15m+ wages with three years left on their contracts! It'd cost a fortune!

You can only register a national team player from the pool of players with that specific nationality, which, iirc, is the only characteristic that still can't be changed in Edit mode. :^(

You could do that in PES '08 by holding both the sprint and pressure buttons when within arm's reach of the player with the ball. Refs would virtually never call it, though. May have been in '09, too, but nobody talked about it and now it's gone.
