I think PES2008 is a very poor game, what I don't understand is why I have the need to take GTAIV out and give my crappy PES a spin. I cant put my finger on it but there is something FIFA cannot get and that something is what sets the 2 apart.

Good post. I see where you are coming from. But the stats system Seabass uses are excellent, you can get a player to play as his real life counterpart by delicately balancing the stats. However there are shortcomings in that a player like Gattuso or Makelele dont try attacking runs into the box...

I know what you mean there is definitely something not quite right. I noticed it the first few times but it doesn't bother me that much anymore. I got rid of pes6 so I cant say what it is. It might have something to do with the ball physics rather than the net.

Doesn't happen to me. What I do is press x to get closer then release before the player tackles make sure that I am on the right side (not behind) and press 'x' or 'o'.
