I hate the made up names. They're so bloody stupid. In the next game, they need to give all players FULL names, then for the fake players/defaults, give them REAL LIFE surnames, but make their first names unique.

I'll probably invest in it further down the line, maybe when it gets a bit cheaper. I've just bought Borderlands 2, so no doubt that'll take up quite a bit of my time. It does look good though, from the little I've seen of it.

Thanks for that, Jonno. I did wonder why some mp4 files would work, but others didn't. I used to be quite lucky with getting ones that work, until it got to the point where I was getting more ban 'uns than good 'uns. I just stick to .AVI files now.

Good point. I've always argued that they should remove the arrows from online matchmaking. In fact, in PES 2011 where I only played in lobbies, I created rooms and made the form arrows stay on regular (ie green). It just gives a random unfair advantage to some players, if their only good...

True, in that sense it isn't random. You're right. The point that members are arguing, is that it's not based on performances on the pitch, which is perhaps the method that Konami should try and move towards.

I don't believe so. I only really remember them from the ISS Pro 98 demo (didn't own the full game). First one I owned was ISS Pro Evolution Soccer on the ps1.... I can't remember if they'd moved on to the arrow system by then though.

I noticed they have the PS1 game, Tomba available on the store now. Did anyone try that back in the day? A strange game indeed.

Does anyone remember (going waaaay back here) when they used to have smiley/frowny faces instead of the arrows? Going back slightly less, they used to have a white arrow instead of a purple one.

I picked Bolton a lot online in PES 2011 and won the majority (probably about 90%) of the matches I played with them.

Yeah, that's what I tried to do, I just messed it up somehow. Anyway, as long as people get the information on the patch, all in one place, there's no bother.
