    Playstation 3

Man you're off your swede. Like I said I've used both and I prefer the PS3 controller simply because in retaining the old design its ergonomic and easier to use. The triggers are good on the Xbox360 controller, but really, who gives a fuck about triggers?! The fact you have to buy the ability...

    What are you currently playing?

I fancy an RPG, ideally Fallout Modded. I might get a Xbox360 so I can get one of the Xbox made FO3 mods. Chucking Liberty Prime into the middle of the Talon Company base ought to be interesting.

Well in that case we're getting it last again because the Euro is strong against the Pound.

    What are you currently playing?

I've got £20 on a GAME voucher - my local store is open - to go towards a purchase and I've no idea what to buy. Any recommendations? I was thinking about Max Payne, but after Deus Ex I want a non shooter.

One is a straight forward punt up field, the other has Backspin.

Yeah, having owned an Xbox360 previously myself, I'm with Ali on this one. The PS3 controller is better, unless you've got chubba hands of course.

I don't understand their reticence at a universal release, is there a particular issue with this logistically that means they can't?!

PES 2013 Demo 1: Feedback, Impressions, Discussions etc.

In terms of PES2013 against PES2012, have Konami again rotated the release across territories? Last year the UK was one of the last areas to have access to it, I'm hoping its different this year as I found it a bit of damn cheek that we had to wait bloody weeks for it compared to Europe and the US.

My main quibble is that the demo on the PS3 is just too short with limited match options.

PES 2013 Demo 1: Feedback, Impressions, Discussions etc.

Well if the 2nd demo is tripe then I'll just stick to playing friendlies on the first demo. It's enjoyable enough as it is for me.

Well, with the clear exception of PSG the teams aren't nearly as good. Well that is for the first season and then they all start buying players and theirs develop. Its more sedate. I prefer to play the big league teams in the Champions League, makes that tournament even more challenging knowing...

Yeah, I've found Superstar easier, but then the AI can still carve you open so I'm not too critical of Superstar on PES2013. I like it.

Mak and I have seen the beauty of PES2013, its a thing to behold. As for the Bolton quibble  I've never used QPR, even though the team was absurdly useful on PES2012 with the uber pace of Cisse and Wright-Phillips. I'll start out as I always do, with a low order French club and...

Nah man, I'm not digging that at all, but are you comparing them to FIFA? The Goalkeeper animations for me are just fine, I've seen a lot of variety in keepers as well, at certain heights they react in different ways - as you'd expect - at waist height I've seen some amazing one handed saves...

You can flick the R stick for flicks, well that's what I do and its to work  R2 kills the ball with perfect control. When running with the ball, stop and hold R2 whilst moving in a direction, you'll find your player doing step overs or shimmys. Very helpful in a tight situation.

PES 2013 Demo 1: Feedback, Impressions, Discussions etc.

Of course there is scripting and the odd cursor issues, but from what I've played its certainly not a game breaker as it was on PES2012. I'm pretty good at this version, I've only lost 1 game on Superstar so far and won all the rest. That's something I couldn't do for love nor money on PES2012...

Speaking of controlling the ball, Ronaldinho is just immense, hold R2 with him and he dribbles and shields the ball perfect for holding up play. Just an awesome player on this game, a must buy on the ML.

    PES 2013 or FIFA 13?

Yep, was always ridiculous that Sony hadn't addressed it sooner. For the record, I'll be buying PES2013 - as long as they don't have a Roger Lemerre and balls up the 2nd demo.

What controlling the ball or flicking it?

    PES 2013 or FIFA 13?

Yes, Sony have addressed this. Despite though being able to copy multiple items with one click, it still takes time for it to couple thousands of components for a PES option file. I know because I did a few weeks back.
