You have to go to your router settings and forward port 5730 to your computer. Probably your graphics card to be honest. A few people are having that issue and I've no idea why you can connect online but then can't play an opponent. Does your router have a DMZ setting? If so, turn that...

Something isn't right then.....obviously. Quite what..I'm really not sure :huh: Port number 3739 sounds strange considering 5739 is what it should automatically be set to. Try only forwarding the one port for PES rather than four and make it 5739. See if that helps at all.

You don't get it to work on PS3, 360 or PS2. It is a PC patch. The patch has no documentation and doesn't tell you what it is doing. It simply installs and then quits. That's really useful :rolleyes:

It means the problem is with the router and the settings there. Are you forwarding the correct port in your router? Run the Settings program, click Online and see which port PES is trying to use, then ensure you are forwarding that port in your router. You may need to see how to forward ports...

Try it without any firewall for just a moment and see if it goes through. If it doesn't your router port forwarding is the issue. If it does work, the firewalls are the problem and that should theoretically be easier to sort out. All mentioned in the first post of this thread which I have...

To be honest, that could just be Vista considering how much it likes to eat RAM and CPU power for breakfast. There's nothing wrong with your specs and the behaviour under XP should be mirrored under Vista. I don't believe Vista is trying to run the game with DirectX 10, simply because Konami...

The service name should simply be to remind you why you set the port in the first place to be honest. As for NOD's firewall, you'll have to find a way to instruct it that PES2008.exe is allowed access to the internet. That shouldn't be too difficult to do and looks like something you'll need...
