What assist settings were you using?

I've never had passes go parallel to what I'm doing. The experiences people have with this game are wildly different to the point its pretty much pointless in arguing anything to the contrary.

Completely agree. There is obviously scripting in the game, but the level at which people are saying its there is ridiculous and just wrong. How is it some of us have control of what we're doing? Oh yeah, we're the puppets being controlled by the obnoxious master!:innocent:

2 bars assist. I notice my accuracy tends to go if I'm either too relaxed and not concentrating on what I'm doing, or if I'm in an important match that is tight and I get a bit nervy(haha, totally lame I know) and I'm trying to be too precise, which makes me think too much about what I'm doing...

I find playing a deep defensive line is quite effective against them. I set it to 3 bars.

There is a lack of 360 degree controls in 13 aswell, which really limited the game compared to 15, especially if you want to dribble with just a change of direction and pace control without tricks. Fifa had 360 controls in 10 or possibly even 9, ridiculous how long it took Konami to catch up...

I agree, its all about positioning. Its great fun and very satisfying when you pull it off precisely. Its still not a given on the highest difficulties due to the twisting and turning AI, which is a good thing or it would become too easy.

Ah yeah, the italian sites what with them being in italian, ha. I was slow on the uptake there, I just went to one there for the first time. Nightmare.

If you press select/back on the main menu and then select game tips at the bottom it has all the controls I think. So should the command list when you pause the game, I'm pretty sure.
