As far as I know, you have to replace it. If there are save game files you want to keep simply copy those from your old save folder into the new one. Master league saves are called - PES2009_ML01, Legend saves are BL01 etc.

Yep - just download from the link on the first page and replace your save folder with that one - i always update the file linked to on the original page

Thanks for the tip Arsenald - used it on the us home kit and it allows for the shadows better

Thanks Mahanddeem. I agree, stats should be left for people to change in their own game - it's not for me to impose my opinions of players on others. So because of this NO player stats will ever be changed by me.

Go to the PES 2009 programs folder - usually - program files/konami/pes2009 In there you should find a settings.exe run this and you'll be able to change keyboard settings.

If this is PC then you can simply copy your master league, legend etc saves into your newly updated option file folder. For example master league saves are called something like PES2009_ML1 and legend saves are PES2009_BL01 etc. Just make sure you keep those files from your original save...
