i thought beckham looked totaly wrong in 08. his shoulders and neck just seemed odd.

not on the scale of E.A.'s deformed players but still miles from the look of earlier pes titles.

if it's the same this time out i will edit his physique a bit. he is normally someone i'd buy in ML as an experienced head to shore up the right side, and for the free kicks also.

the face seemed ok tho, just his upper body.

haha a fifa fan noob ripping on the appearance of PES players. most players looked identical too there counterparts last year, you could even see the texture of there skin when you zoomed in, unlike the deformed pastey ugly mofos in FIFA. the randomers are as crap as ever, but FIFAs randomers are bad too. The faces they put effort in look great, and of course they look like last year as they looked great then, FIFAs graphics and faces look the same

From the username I smell a fifa fan. But I can't judge. Yes some faces look similar, but soem are massively improved. The lighting on the face is really realistic and natural unlike 08.

haha, no, I'm a neutral, hence fifa pro. But I will admit, I have been impressed with Fifa 09. Am waiting to see if it meets my expectations and lives up to them when it comes out next week.

I just think the faces look poor. Van persie looks like an asian kid!

Only three posts and one thread about the "wrong" faces of PES and named fifapro, LMAO, so stupid, this guy is chinaman or greekwow, those two just disappear after the fifa demo.

Please make another argument because if PES is the only master in one thing, that's Players Faces.

at least they could get the colours of some of the lesser known players right, danny simpson isnt white.

and Anderson surely is stronger than 78 and quicker than 83. It just infuriates me that they cant be bothered to put a bit of work into getting the faces of some players right and also the stats of well known players.

I have to agree.. there's the Improved faces such as; Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrard, Leo Messi, Juan Roman Riquelme, and a few others..

But 90% of the Faces look exactly the same as PES08 -but- with improved Lighting effects.

The Gameplay Graphics look improved -but- I have to say, those still pics where Underwhelming.

cheers amateur. I'm just annoyed why theyve had a year to work on this yet the faces have hardly been improved. I remember Luke Young was black when he is white and now Danny Simpson is white when he's not!

I really don't give a damn about the real faces.All i care about is kits and the GAMEPLAY.These Fifa pro's only like faces and graphics.They never argue about gameplay which matters the most coz they are kids and dont know about football.They just love to score goals so they prefer Fifa to Pes.I heard they usually go to bed after listening lullabies....LMAO:lol:

I know maybe faces aren't a so important aspect about the game but I think it is, and seeing the Premier League and other leagues faces I ask myself, what did KONAMI did this all year?

- They haven't made any significant new number of faces
- They won the Champions League License (but the game's graphics still the same, and it seems that its just a polished PES2008)
- They have not any new significant license, actually lost La Liga and continue without the Bundesliga, this is particullary ridiculous.
- They haven't created any new dribbles or feints (you see the same stupid feints you had in PES 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 2008)
- They say they improved the Edit Mode (lets see how deep..) at least by the images released today it seems the same edit mode, it seems you can't even put standard faces in other players and you can also not use their special hairstyles in other players)

I am a fan of PES, I have them all, the whole series, but in feeling with sadness and disappointement I ask:

Has PES series got to its end???

The faces look better than pes 08. I mean all of the players look improved. Also there are many new faces that look alike.
