i played 1 v 1 with my mate. way too many offsides. The players are so dumb, they are offside for ages and they fail to run back onside.

i dont agree. I watched my players go offside and stay offside for 5 seconds before they realised they need to get back onside. If the AI was so good they would get back on side straight away like in real football.

why dont you do what i do every year. buy fifa for £25 in the supermarkets then 2 weeks later trade it in .

hmv normally do a straigh swap or you will get £35 trade in vaule for fifa then pay £1 for pes

so its costing you£1

Guys, how do we increase player speed/stamina ?
On PES12 on the PS3, by pressing SELECT + R1/R2 we could increase/decrease stamina/speed

How do we do this on the latest demo ?

Never heard such a biased review!!!!!!!! OBVIOUSLY you not giving it a chance? i could tear fifa apart, fifas menus are terrible... so american. you moan about the buttons, well learn them. "dont play it like fifa" thats coz its not fifa.. its better.
of course players make runs off the ball, evo came out with that in the first place.. LEARN THE BUTTONS, to review a game you need to play it more than once.

the game is so stiff it's unreal and everything seems to be running on rails, to me it's borderline unplayable, not sure HOW people who've been claiming that the demo is good can be satisfied with such a poor effort.

agreed 100% i played 1 game and thought this is shit and deleted the demo. seems as PES is just getting worse. the dribbling seems so slow and poor would give it a 3/10

That's why I like it here. When something is bad, we have the decency to say it and we also don't fall for everything that pes tried to give us. But this year, FINALLY, it's different.

But the fifa guys. Man oh man how stupid and annoying can a human being be? :facepalm:

It's ok to like fifa over pes, but it's not ok to trash the other game just because of it's title.

Oh and BTW, Mak is right about fifa. I said the same thing before and I still say it now. Fifa has some good things, but it is NOT a simulation. it only looks the part, but it does not play it.

Comments and stuff on youtube is the same thing as mass hysteria. Its in there minds. Fifa has all the licenses so pes sucks. Its good to point out the bad things in a game but to say a game is bad because of the name ore because its not fifa is pretty dumb to me. I personaly like pes and i dont like fifa but that doesnt make fifa a bad game. If someone has fun palying fifa good for you. Thats whats it about having fun in the game you play. And pes not having all the licenses gives pes way more freedom. Thanks to the comunity and of makes the kits are up to date and the game is basicly fully licensed and you can change it whenever you want to.

I really laughed my arse off reading this mate :) Not because of you, but because F**A implemented a new way of controlling a couple of years back. That happens to be the same as the dafault way of controlling in pes :) - The only reason to why i can beat my mates when they invite me over to play F**A

Manual shooting, passing, long passing, etc... Works really well and is mixed with player individuality

R2. Revolutionary. You can dribble slowly with it with full control, burst out of it or shield the ball with big, strong players. With slow players like Pirlo, R2 is fantastic as you can literally dance around a player to get into a better position for that killer pass.

Animations. While not fifa like, they are way smoother and fluid than in pes 12

Shooting in general without manual is way better as you can have an input on direction.

AI and CPU change. Pes 12 cheated you to death and when the AI scored, you can see through the cheating. In pes 13, while cheating still occurs, it's way less noticeable and won't make you made when you conceal a goal.

AI of your teamates. In pes 12 they had a set of option to open space. Pes 13 expanded that further.

PLAYER INDIVIDUALITY has never been better and you can instantly tell when you're with a dribbler, a passer or a scorer. Oh and player ID actually works extremely well.

And most of all, ENJOYMENT. This may be personal opinion, but the game is very enjoyable and you won't feel bored after 1 game.

Seriously, the changes mentioned above place pes 13 way above pes 12 and it seriously isn't a 99.9% copy when all of those changes were made.

So true about enjoyment. It doesn´t get boring, I liked the pes 12 career so much better than Fifa´s career. And it also looks very promising with all the new features like being able to train players.

And yes, I think I haven´t the demo enough. Because I really didnt notice much difference between players.

I will redownload the demo and check it out
