Problem is, one moment the CPU is doing fine and the next its doing one of these things:

-Getting tackled because it refuses to pass
-Running, under no pressure, right into an opponent
-Standing around waiting for tumbleweed as an attacker races past to collect a lose ball
-Launching a 90-yard ball to make it look like you called for the ball when you didn't
-Playing, under no pressure, a 3-yard pass to you when you've got three opponents standing around you and clearly didn't want or ask for it.

Lol, had a lot of this. I can't stand when your defender is winning the race to chase down a throughball, feels contact from the opponent as he swings and misses his clearance, falls on his ass and they score.

Also had several instances where the AI has played a 20 yard pass back only for the goalie to let it run past him into the goal.

So how highly rated are all your Pros? Anyone got any impressive club stats?

From memory: Mak is mid to late 70s as he's only been with us for a week or two, the rest of us are all 81-87 I believe.

Only had my Pro about 3 weeks. Completed all the ball skills/passing accomplishments pretty easily.

Does anyone else think overall ratings are bullshit? I'd like them scrapped entirely, much preferred the old PES pentagon/hexigon diagrams which gave you so much more information about the player you were looking at.

And yeah [MENTION=11454]Original?[/MENTION] Nothing beats the PES stats/attribute system back on the PS2. You would spend ages in the team management screen analysing the stats of your players and then you would make an informed decision on who to start and who to drop. It was great.

FIFA has never quite grasped that concept yet. Maybe they will in the future, who knows.

I got the achievement for four volleys from inside the area (starting the night on 3/4) THREE times last night. Once it didn't stick because they disconnected but the second time I got it was in the game we won 4-0 where I scored all of the goals.

In that one I also got two other achievements including 5 volleys from anywhere but neither of those stuck either. The third time I got the "four volleys from inside the area" one it did stay but I'm annoyed.

I love the games where my 5'9 VP (not 5'7 as I thought previously) can dominate in the air and win every knock-on from a goal kick that he challenges for.

I started last night with 190/200 long passes and was hoping to get that accomplishment sorted by the end of the night. Some of you may have noticed me playing long passes rather than a simple x pass at times and this was why but unfortunately I ended the evening on 153/200 long passes. Fuck you EA.

We started the night with a league game which we won then stuck to only cup games for the rest of the evening. Sweey was on form scoring goals left, right and centre and even managed 4 in one game but the cup system seems a bit broken as we never really seemed to progress through the rounds, partly because of the opponents disconnecting I guess.
