i would like to see players block shots with their body, not with their un-physical hit-box which extends at least 0.3m. also: either reduce block shots or call for a penalty once in a while, since 50% get rejected by the arms of the defenders.

nah, "objective" factors like formation, form etc. kick far less in. i won games against top-teams with my out of form players. it happens that the cpu scores goals a la maradona with players that have dribbling ratings in the 60-70ies.

i think the key is defense. i don't score a lot but by allowing around half a goal per match i won the ML on level4 - my biggest sucess so far. i suggest you to use 3 central defenders and 2 defensive midfielder, in this aspect the starting strategy is o.k. with the initial players i hardly play...

not only, english players are overrated a bit, and brazil players are underrated except for the stars. i mean check gerrard better than emerson, though emerson is the best cm in italy over years, look at the defence, at kleberson etc.
