the most effective way is to shoot straight over the wall into the near post. you don't even need bend in the ball. all you need is hitting the bar at the middle and aiming straight at the target. your players ability handles the rest

For some reason no matter how well my defense plays my centerbacks never manage a rating above a 6. Even with a clean sheet their ratings can be as low as 5 whilst my wing backs manage a 6.5-7. Anybody have a clue as to why this happens?
