I can't hepl you on the first quetion mate. But there is a option file editor that is compatible with WE8LE. But is has alot of bugs in it. Here it is anyway: WE8LE Option File Editor

That way doesn't work for me. So NO it isn't more covenient! It creates a differnet kind of dummy file for some reason. :rolleyes: If you actually bother to look in the guide it doesn't create this kind of dummy file.

Well it should have downloaded as rar files. You just make sure all the rar files are in the same folder and extract for first rar and it will give you the instructions and files to be used.
