Anyone has noticed the size of the ball in relation to the player. The size of the ball is big compared to the real football. Fifa07 is suitable to be played in 1997 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i mean im at work and would like to download it, but cannot chance the file containing viruses otherwise im fucked..

Try: FileFront.com

Go on the navigation bar to 'Sports'>>'Soccer'>>'FIFA 07'. Then go to official demos.

It's about just over 500 MB.

I have not tried the demo yet and probably will not from what you guys have posted, however I will gamble in terms of game play that the original FIFA 96 and 97 are better than what they are releasing now. the FIFA series peaked in 96.

Without doubt, the gamble is yours Mr. Red..........

Has anyone noticed the shot technique in Fifa07 Demo? It looks very artificial. I never see these techniques before except in Fifa. Fifa is directly prportional to backwardness.

What are you? Konami's sales representative? are you so afraid there's a chance this year for FIFA? I mean pes is an excellent football game, no doubt about it, but you look like a psycho or something LOL!!

Agree with ^

No need to push people around, let everyone try what they want and come up with their own conclusions.

There is no such thing as a perfect game, to each his own.

Why are you taking it on your chest? I have just played the demo once more and I was just trying to share my opinion with others. That's all simply....

i love pes but every year i purchase fifa just for a change and every year i am dissapointed by shit gameplay, graphics aren't everything to me pes and fifa are both good although pes is a bit cartoony, but the main thing that bothers me is losing if i lose a game on pes its because i was out played by the other person but if i lose on fifa its because the gameplay is so shit, you can't use skill to get back in the game something stupid always happens like if you pass up the line and the ball goes 2 yards in front of you to no one what the f**k is that about.
The downfalls in pes i can tolerate but fifa is unbearable gaming is supposed to be fun.
i will try fifa again this year and we will see but i'm glad there is always a pes game to fall back on.

ign review of fifa.

9.1 Presentation
Simply faultless, boasting hundreds of official clubs, kits, players and stadia from all around the world, FIFA 07 is every hardcore football fan’s wet dream.

6.2 Graphics
Player animation is fluid and most facial likenesses are passable, although some team members resemble burns victims and oddly Peter Crouch is only as tall as Stevie G.

8.3 Sound

The contemporary soundtrack is as slick as you’d imagine for a FIFA game, plus the team-specific chants really add to the atmosphere during a game.
8.7 Gameplay

Still not as tight as Pro Evo but it’s getting closer. The controls are more intuitive and AI players more intelligent, making for a much improved team game. Default goalies are rubbish though.

8.5 Lasting Appeal
With a full-blown manager mode, countless leagues and cups, online tournaments and PSP connectivity, there’s plenty to get stuck into, whether you’re playing alone or with mates.

Fifa is a piece of junk.. Even on the PC with high end graphic cards, it still looks like shit.

The gameplay is for kids. It's very easy to score. It's more arcadey and meant for noobs or people new to football.

WE's gameplay is a more simulated and meant for real football fans who knows football.

I used to play FIFA, before my friends open my eyes with WE. I've never looked back since. (However i still do play FIFA once in awhile with my young nephews.)

my verdict

Got the full version of Fifa07. My verdict:

Pro:
  • Presentation is quite nice, as always
  • Nice animations, especially seeing a player get tackled or bumping into one another
  • Nice goalkeeper animations. One hand saves, looks very good
  • a LOT of competitions (25 in total, PC version)
  • International League mode is brilliant!

Con:
  • Graphics in "cut-scenes" are alright, graphics during gameplay suck ass
  • Goalkeepers are very very stupid. Get stuck in the goalnet. Come out their goal at the wrong angle so that scoring is way easy.
  • Scoring is way easy ;)
  • There are linesmen and a referee on the pitch, but they don't do anything! They just run around looking like fools.
  • It takes a player about 0.5 seconds after you press a button to react, STILL!
  • Dribbling is way to easy
  • Create a club option is rubbish. Only 15 or so kit templates, and predefined colours to choose from (also around 12 colours)
