It's fine. It wasn't anything personal as I'm sure you know. We have to treat everyone the same and I've warned you about posting when you don't really need to before now.
Pique, I would start a game with Inter *shudders* but it won't tell me how much they make in a season in order to splash the cash every summer without me managing them and getting sacked for doing my best to get them into Serie B.

I seem to be distinctly average at this game- 13th, 11th, and 11th in my three seasons with Lecce. Never exceeding board expectations, never falling short.
I always score plenty (even though my top scorer left in the first two seasons- Cedric Konan to Atalanta for £3.4m in the first season as he only had a year to run on his contract and then Simone Pepe as he refused to join me permanently) but I concede too many as well. This season I will experiment and make my midfielders more defensive and try to fix my poor away record by being more defensive away from home. I'm also reverting from 4-4-2 to either 4-4-1-1 or 4-2-3-1 (maybe the former for away games and the latter at home).
Players who I have signed and have actually turned out good have been Marcelo Gonzalez (Danubio right-back), Pavel Kalouda (Brno right winger) and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie (left winger of some Russian side).

Fucking hell :laugh: Just realised Norwich won the FA Cup in 2010 :laugh: League-wise, they're a mid-table Championship side, as they were meant to be at the start.

To get rid the kit's shadow.
1. Download the default kits , replace the kits in editor data directory (Football Manager 2008\FM 2008\editor data\kits)
2. Download the rar file http://www.sendspace.com/file/o8ley1 and extract it in the same kit directory
3. Create "default" folder in the Graphics folder where you have put your kits (My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\kits by default)
4. Copy the content of the kit folder in editor data (your first step) and paste it in the "default" folder
5. Restart the game ...

They are incredibly cheeky. They signed Fred way above market value, they go after every player I scout (I should start scouting shite players
) and have almost unlimited funds. They bough Montolivo for 13.75 million at the start, an equal bid from me was rejected as well as a higher bid from Real Madrid. They keep unsettling Diego Capel who I got reasonably cheap from Sevilla at the start and always I find scouts or Mancini himself in the stands looking at my Argies and Brazilians. Same with David Luiz of Benfica I believe, got him on the cheap and half a year later they offer stupendous money for him and he's gone :mellow: He seemed talented at the beginning but he lingers into mediocrity after a while in my game it seems.
My board went from satisfied to pleased after lost 1-0 at Juventus and won 1-0 at home to Roma :erm:
I'm having some serious problems, aside from Ronaldo, all of my goalkeepers being poor and Gilardino losing his form: I often dominate matches with 15+ shots, sometimes up to 30 with tons on target but I don't score. Ronaldo, Adriano, Gilardino, Alexandre Pato, Oliveira and also in my first season Inzaghi all struggle big time to score in games despite lots of chances and it is often left to Kaka, Gourcuff, Belluschi, Vailatti or Seedorf to net the winner. I'm training my team hard on all aspects of play, their finishing attributes are high and their morale is good. This has been going on since the start of my first season and I've suffered with it ever since. How do I fix it? :huh:

I remember Vailatti from FM07, had excellent free kicks and generally all technical attributes looked great, but his physique was shocking. Or was it his mental attributes? :unsure:
I'll post a screenshot of him tonight if I remember. His free-kicks are 20 and in the games he's played so far he's been absolutely outstanding. I'm using him as Seedorf's understudy which is pushing Belluschi toward the position occupied usually by Gattuso or Ambrosini. Emerson was quickly relegated to my reserves and I've sent Arouca out to Palermo in a co-ownership deal.
