ive just got to San whatever its called, the pisstake of San Francisco, thank fuck ive done all them shitty countryside missions... or at least i hope i have

I'm in San Fierro as well now, I can't believe how different it looks and feels compared to los santos, but I wouldn't mind going back to the back country, I'm well impressed by the terrain and the scale,Rockstar have done a f*%kin good job with this, and I might start gettin' defensive if people start slagging it off.

Also Halo2 is pony, I played it at my mates and HE turned it off after half an hour, I wasn't particularly impressed, he reckons its a waste of money and Microsoft only released it now to try and take the limelight from the "far-superior" GTA:SA (this is a guy that masturbated over halo1).

Its true halo 2 has not lived up to its expectations according to the people who have got the game, however san andreas is brilliant im nowhere close to finsihing the game i think.Only about 40% complete

Gave up on Amazon ages ago, all the cases of the CDs I bought from them ended up cracked to bits by the time they got to my doorstep.

I e-mailed them asking for a hundred spare CD cases for already damaged ones as well as future CDs I order and they only sent me 5. Never used them again since!

I've not been playing it as religiously as some I think. Only got as far as the Cesar mission 'High stakes, low rider' completed every mission I could do around it, but now I can't progress unless I win the race. Any tips? I'm bloody useless at that race.

You could drive around for a while to top up your driving stats, but I don't know how much that helps because I'm alright at races so I wouldn't notice a difference. Maybe get used to the handbrake and try your hardest to get out in front at the start then just keep a reassonable pace.

I'm well loving this game in San Fran now, (playing this instead of going out, its way to cold, and I'm getting flashbacks of waiting for taxis at 2am). I'm chilling out on the missions at the moment because everyone else was complaining how short it was, and I'm doing the Driving school, pimping, playing pool, Destruction derby (fucking well hard), bit of sight-seeing, and I might try and do some swimming to improve those stats. Also "in da club" doing the dancing game, I want to know does it improve your sex-appeal ?

Before a bloody single-propellor plane crashed at a junction and the whole street practically blew-up !?!?! I find the funniest thing to do is jack-knife an 18 wheeler on one of the freeways(on a blind bend) and watch the cars plough into it , then start taking pot shots at the drivers and the whole place loses it.

This is easily the most entertaining game I've ever played, does anyone know if you buy that farm in the countryside ($2000000) you'll grow weed. Or anything ?? And can you do random races in the different cities after you've completed the game ?

Liam K, just drive at an average speed, slow down on turns etc. And the start, stay at the back, and let everybody take each other out, by the time you reach the turn where you would be going up a tunnel if you went straight-ahead, you should be in 1st place, and when you get to the final straight; the pier. it's just a case of hitting the gas and watching the other cars disappear behind you.

The trick I used in the races was to never go barrelling ahead out of control. The other cars are never all that fast, and they make mistakes, so use that. Get ahead, then concentrate on keeping a steady speed. If you have tried a few times you should have an idea where the course goes, if not, pay attention to the marker as it has an arrow showing any turns. Keep a steady speed, not too much wild turning, don't "over correct" when coming out a bend, and you'll win comfortably.

I was going to try for the puctures in San Fierro, so the weapons spawned at my houses, but I won so much on the horses there seemed like no point. I have just started the casino missions, and I'm having a blast getting my weapon, driving and physical stats up. Why aren't the rest as easy as muscles! It's worth it though, few weapons are as much fun (or as deadly at close range) as twin sawn-off shotguns.

Well, I've managed to get past the C.R.A.S.H. missions now. I had to come first in that race that Cesar invites you to. Then you gotta do some big, big mission for sweet. Been taken to Los Santos backcountry now. Done the 3rd C.R.A.S.H. mission, met 'the truth'. Done the first truth mission and just met catalina. I've just started the catalina missions. Still quiet a while yet til I get to San Fierro.

You're already in San Fierro!

You get to it after you complete the Green Sabre mission. You start off near the mountain, but you can drive up into San Fierro.

Also in San Fierro airport, if you go straight on as you go into it you eventually get to a fence with a cabin.

The person in the cabin says 'This area is restricted for pilots only'. Park your car next to the cabin and climb onto the top of your car, then climb onto the top of the cabin and you can get into the airfield.

You can't open any of the aeroplanes in their unfortunately, but if you turn right and go through the tunnel as soon as you skip over the fence there's a helicopter that you can fly.

Also, just south-west of the airport there's this hill with a winding road going up to the top of it. You can see the winding dirt road on your map. Go to the top of that hill and there's a cropduster plane that you can get into as well as a sniper rifle (in the barn).

I'm well into san fierro now. I'm only stuck on the Amphibious Assault mission the one with Wu Zi Mu. Anyway, everytime I try to start the mission, it keeps saying that my swimming skill needs to be higher in order to start this mission. Any tips anyone? How do you get the sufficient swimming skill to do this mission?

I'm halfway through the CJ missions at the garage and I've done all the Jizzy missions.

To do the misson for wu zi mu go swimming and swim under water and keep getting in and out so you dont drown wat you want to do here is get your lung capactiy bar up to a least half way.

You don't need to get lung capacity up to halfway for that mission. You just need to get the messege lung capacity upgraded twice, which is a tiny amount of the bar really. Only takes a few minutes.

Suffered a bit of a MAX drive disaster just now and my entire memory card's been wiped. Which is a touch annoying.

Just getting the PESFan Option File down again but I've also lost my GTA:SA save game. Can anyone sort me out with a save file (XPort or Max Drive) of San Andreas around the time of unlocking the second island. I've got to the Catalina missions, if anyones got a save file of there or there abouts I'd be thankful.

Also had a very strange PES4 replay that I wanted to share with this forum, but appears it's now disappeared. It was a trick that the computer pulled on me, where the CPU, facing away from goal, put his foot down a ball travelling towards him as if to trap it, but somehow he made it bounce onto the turf and up over my player's head who was position behind him. Also had a free kick where Henry completely missed the ball.

Anyone help me out with the save file?

For the people who care about the PES points, I'll donate all 10,000 odd of mine for the GTA save file as an incentive. But make sure it's cheat-free, don't want the amount of times cheated thing in the Miscellaneous menu unpurifying my game!

Does anyone know how to open the mod garage in San Fierro that lets you modify the sports cars?

I think you need to complete the missions for that garage. Or is that something completely different????

Don't know if this has been mentioned before but I found a couple of new things yesterday - if you do all the pimping missions then prostitutes will pay you to have sex with them. and if you go back to valet place and complete their missions it will become an asset.

Does anyone know what a Patriot looks like? It's the only vehicle I don't have from the first wish list.

Also, there's a chainsaw up a ramp in the yard behind your garage in San Fierro.

Apparently there are all of that catagory of weapons in Mike Toreno's house when you have completed all of his missions. Not sure if this is true so will check it out.
