actually my m8 has just been round and the game wasnt assisted so fifa has just gone well down in my estimation

and ive just played it again and yes the game does lack depth it is riddiculously easily and every pass is perfect ,no miscontrols

but it still put a smile on my face ,but as for shelf life ,5 mins

as an example of how easy it was i played 5 games on top level ,i conceeded 1 scored 23 sorry but this game is just for kids

OMG Dicky you have made such a fool out of yourself it's untrue. To claim that you can win easily on all manual legendary difficulty on your first attempt at the game is blatant bullshit. The main hole in your story is that if you had manual settings the computer doesn't control your passing at all. So if every pass was perfect that's not the games fault, that's you having superhuman skill with the analog stick.

Fifa is the deepest football game ever, fact. If Fifa is the pacific ocean, PES is a dirty little puddle on the side of the road.

I play Fifa on all manual and can just about hold my own on world class now, and not being big headed but i'm good at football games. Probably had a 95 percent win ratio on Pro Evo over the course of 6-7 years playing my mates all the time.

What makes all manual controls great is:

a) It's brutally difficult so when you pull of a beautiful move and finish it's a great feeling.

b) The fact that it is hard to knock it around accurately means you use long balls to your target man more. This aspect of football is brilliantly realised while it is useless in Pro Evo.

c) You really have to knock the ball around in defence/midfield to work openings. You can't play risky passes in your own half or the computer will dick on you because it's so good going forward that if you're caught short at the back it will punish you. In Pro Evo, even on top player you can chill and almost drift through games while thinking about what you're having for dinner, then think at the final whistle "I don't even remember anything that happened in that game and I won 3-0".

If you think Fifa isnt as good as Pes your moronic. I know upwards of 10+ people who have changed from 10 years of pes to fifa. Every journalist thinks Fifa is better. How can you say fifa is easier than pes? In pes the top player level is a joke and it usually takes me roughly 5 matches when i buy pes to get to the point where i can hammer top player 8-0 every game whereas in fifa legendary is a challenge for even the creators of the game and does take some constant pressure to actually score. In pes if you really have to score a goal then there are always stupid ways how you can guarentee a goal but in fifa there arnt bugs etc where you can just score when you want to.

hey i didnt like fifa when i first played it...!!! i went back playing pes... it wasnt until i completely stopped playing pes and really saw where fifa is coming from that i fell in love with it..!!

i understand now where Konami went wrong and EA went right for next gen, konami went for graphics so got all the surface players and EA went for revolutionary gameplay..!

its no longer a battle about what game is better, i think its about the level of understanding from the player..!!! thank god MOST people think forward..!!

i actually do like fifa but as i have clearly stated i find it too easy its much easier to get into than pes and as for timing and concentration both games you need that,i actually suffer on pes because of my passing style espicially with 09 and pes is more fustrating

i will be honest with you i hated fifa and wouldnt play it for toffee ,but i played the game with an open mind and gave an honest first impression of the game ,then after playing the game again today i found my first impression to be true ,it does feel like pes06

p.s. i disagree with your statement where you say konami went for graphics ,personally i beleive konami took a sidestep their not with graphics but trying to make PES a one super star and 10 others game ,EA or fifa have it right with their team element view point ,pes game engine needs to be sorted out

I dont mind which game you prefer, im just dubious over how easy you claim to find the game. We dont think you have been tested on it properly thats all.

I just dont get how you find PES harder when the cpu directs your passes for you, but somehow you seem to find manual passing easier, thats all.

I highly doubt btw, wether you would find world class/ legendary easy against a top team, certainly wether you find that easier than Top player on pro (which just means the AI cheats 10 times more anyways)

The point still stands that the bad points of pes definetly out weigh the bad points of fifa no matter what they are. Im just interested to know wether people who converted to fifa are looking more forward to fifa 2010or pes 2010. Personally im definetly, for the first time in years, going to buy Fifa out right on the day of release and Pes is gonna have to get some decent reviews coupled with a mind blowing demo for me to bother with it.

Imo fifa just needs to improve long range shooting, reaction times and player faces/detail and maybe a better MM to make it a legendary game in my books. Up there with cod4 and san andreas etc.

Pes will be like trying to repair the titanic. Theres a rediculous amount of stuff they need to do just to get on par with Fifa08/09 let alone come anywhere near fifa 2010. The game needs AN ABSOLUTE REHAUL in every aspect of everything in the game that is pes. They may make a good game but its just not gonna compare next season. Having said all that, if they brought back Memorial match then i would probably buy it as it was the mode that made playing ML actualy worth while.
