is 2009 the begining of the end of real football on pes???
Pes was built on a fanbase of people who wanted to play a video game like a real game of football, we would look at fifa and see how easy it was to run through the whole pitch with one player and laugh at how unrealistic it was, it became the base's for alot of the arguement about what game was better..
There are 2 types of games players who play both pes and fifa, 2dimensional(pass,dribble, run run run, pass, shoot, repeat) and 3 dimensional(spreading play, moving ball around, varied attacking plays, using all the buttons etc) from the early days of pes the 2D players have been around, creating unrealistic formations always giving space for repetitive wing running play, very basic and boring. 2D players have always been at about 25% of the players.
With 2009 the % seems to have shot up to about 60% with new found power of dribble and turning seeming to go to peoples head. the easy way seems to be how people want to play, over dribbling in unrealistic repetitive ways that make the gameplay ridiculus and alot like the old fifa games...its soooo easy to play this way it actually takes the fun out the game for me and makes it sooo predictable to defend its boring..
with the 40% of us 2009 can offer some great games no doubt about it, however due to the stupid shit konami have done to make it play better online (LOL) the cpu has way too much control of the actually cursor players passing and movement it takes away some creative control and plays on rails too much.. great games but more are spoiled by bullshit bugs..2009 creates more situations where you dont have control (cpu taking over your player and freezing etc) sometimes it feels like your just a passenger..!!
its a computer game and people should play it how they want, some people just want to do the easy unrealistic 2D arcade play and no doubt those people will think pes2009 is the best game yet, it can offer that more than any other pes, and now can even do it in a more exciting way than fifa..if you play fifa this way it gets boring pretty quick..
I think that most people who are moaning on this thread like me are of the 3D 40%..our creative control has been reduced and there are more boring 2D players out there. it looks like Konami are now catreing more for these 2D players where fifa is tryin to go 3D....
