however does this mean they haven't improved the computer AI? Because on the last 2 games the AI defense has always dropped ridiculously deep sometimes defending 8-10 yards out...I strongly hope thats been changed because just as its on easy mode shouldn't mean the opponents all defend backs to the walls.

look you cant tell anything about the defending from these vids, its just to show case goals/graphics and such not the tecnicals of the game, seeing as though you are going to be adviser to konami, you should have known that right? :D :rolleyes:

To play WE8 on a PAL (European) PS2 it needs to be chipped. You can go to the better gameshops.... The messiah chip is one of the best so I've heard...

yes, I have the messiah chip and that one is the best.. other chips works also good however they need a boot cd before you can start the game... sooo, take the messiah chip (if available)

It's good that pompey are gonna be in it cos that should mean that the likes of bolton, boro, southampton, birmingham, charlton should all be there too.

The kit editor looks to be a bit improved too. 3 colours on the captain's armband is cool. Also there's evidence of pink which we didn't have on pes3.

Won't this mean we can either have a regular badge or a big one in the middle of the kit acting as a sponsor. Still, all sounds great to me.

Not sure how easy its going to be to make some of the sponsors! I mean, Arsenals will be easy of course. Villas should be easy. P*rtsmouths should be easy nough too.. but some are just going to be approximations at best, like SOuthamptons. Still, a sponsor editor would make it pretty ace.


I think Konami should try to sue the FA, saying they're not promoting fair competition amongst companies, and encouraging and aiding the monopolisation of this genre of game which EA have had for so long, for financial gain. GRRRRR Just GIVE Konami the licenses for the good of the people, you bastards!

the nets need to be able to stop the ball, i hate that it constantly bounces out of the net after a goal, it just doesnt feel right to me. It just u want to see the ball in the back of the net when you score.

Am i making a big fuss out of a little thing?
