Man the grass still looks like inlayed carpet! It has that clean look still. Konami have to bring back the grass from gamecube's WE6:FE cuz at least that looked marginally better.

I know what you mean, the turf and nets are utter shit - Ive said it all along and people used to say "its impossible to make it look the turf and nets any more realistc on the ps2 hardware" - then football kingdom came out.
This game could be a real fucking let down after all.

Since when did all football matches take place on green carpets As for those shots, you cant really see the lighting effects, you cant see the game on the screen so well not to mention colours. The grass wont bother me much, as long as the graphics are crisp and smooth, and there is enough detail, that'll keep me happy.

Also you keep telling people to get their heads out of their ass, infact I make it more that it's probably the other way round, as you are too quick shoot your mouth off before knowing exactly what it is you are talking about. Well Madden Football or ESPN NFL 2k5 have better grass even.And those two games are dev using the PS2 engine.
yeah i totally agree on football kingdom. I am quite happy with that game. actually i think it's amazingly well done for a first time effort. They(Namco)have a good thing going..

cmon people stop all the un-necessary arguing about a game thats not even out yet! We all know that Konami always improves the game. And we all know that we will continue to play the game. Thats how it always was and will always be. The info we got are impressing enough. So lets just save our arguments till after we play the game and have enough experience

Surely a small database of names could be incorporated, otherwise regeneration is very unrealistic.

but y the big deal jamez? weve always been playin with the same players the whole time and no one mentioned anything back then about it. now when retiring and regeneration is added everybodys annoyed? weird. if it werent added then we wudve been playin the same old system again. its just similar to the older system, but in a different creative manner.

You know I dont really care about the same Names? Just use your imagination. Maybe you can change the names only. Although I dont think it will be possible. But like I said if you use your imagination its not that hard for me. And if Zidane come bakc with the same appearance and stats that sucks indeed. But I hope it will not happen that often, only once in 7 seasons or some? And I hope its gonna happen in the 7th season then, cause i dont play ML longer then 4 years I guess.
But if Zidane comes back as a Defender I dont have a problem with it really, I care more about the amount of boots.

If Zidane comes back at all then it completely removes the point of the player retiring in the first place.
What a load of horse shit we shouldnt be arguing right now, it should be a time of excitement. But why do Konami release news like this which puts a downer on everything. Do they even ask the fans whether they would like such and such a feature, or do they just throw it in and see what happens, from the looks of it, I'd go very much with the latter.

No, you can, just not with the ingame editor possibly, if you change it on the PC and then burn to DVD then the things from the DVD will be loaded. Think about it. Plus no one said you can´t change the players appearance and age for the ML, just the stats.
