has anything been said about improved a.i i.e more balanced according to the strength of the team rather than being completely defensive? increased difficulty? improved shooting animations? improved goalkeeping?

It does look like it but surely if anyone was gonna have any beckham would have those awful ones that take up half his head. Probably just a graphical glitch.

The music is crap, we know it. But it really is one of the least important faults with the game. I just turn it off. I hope they at least get rid of the tradtitional "new remix" of the original PES music, because it sucks. But I'd rather see the commentary get better. Again, i personally don't see that as the key bit of the game. I'd rather have licenses.

It would be nice to see it change for the better in every department, but if it delivers where it really counts - gameplay - I wil be more than happy with rubbish music, poor commentary, crap menus and even lacking many licenses. Oh, I'd like to see a bit of graphical improvement, correct team rosters, correct names - thats also quite important. But as for music, i don't care.

PS - and im sure a lot of that stuff definately is comin from what we've seen. I'm glad the graphics are getting a bit better.

Beckham actually looks like Beckham now, thats good - in PES 3 i thought he was one of the weakest big name representations. Nedved also looks stunning in thos game! That screenshot of him with the ball against.. parma? Whoever - it looks well good!

Today is June 19th and still no videos. Just some reg. commercial with Zico telling him "look at my first touch system" and one vid off of Konami's "news" site that showed a bunch of "more lucky then us" people playing for a free WE8 before release. II really wanted to see vids because a pre-order is on mere faith that it will be good. imagine we see the vids and they look very similiar to WE7:I or something? By then we'd be getting the game shipped and be totally miffed.
