o noes dnt diss me plz cos i cnt take it lol serios

I'll give you reasons why it's stupid.

1) It'll take far too long.
2) You'll only play each other a few times.
3) It's an idea coming from you, which makes it worse.

If you want to play with a friend, play online, in an exibition match or in one of the many, many tournaments in PES4 which allow you to play with a friend.

Don't ruin something that's fine as it is.

ML just gets a little old when it's CPU CPU CPU over and over, who you simply destroy. And sitting at the end of a bunch of seasons with a crapload of money and nowhere to spend it, because you have every player you could ever want.

Having five of your friends in your league would mean that you would be competing for those really good players, and not everyone would have identical squads. Additionally, you would be facing them in the WEFA cups and whatnot, which would make those 100 times more exciting.

Think about this: you begin a master league season with a few of your friends. There is a draft to decide who has access to which players. Friend #1 takes a big gamble on a few real youngsters, while friend #2 mixes it up a little: he snags a couple of solid stars like Sneijder and Heitinga (friend #2 is dutch :p). But friend #3 goes straight for the goods and grabs the hottest player he can find, signing Totti in a miracle deal, which of course everybody else complains about.

The season gets underway and friend #1 finds his youngsters struggling to develop well in the face of losses to the overally solid friend #2's squad, as well as the Totti-captained team of friend #3. Friend #3's team is streaky though: relying on Totti to carry the offensive weight, sometimes he can score a few goals, sometimes he can't. Totti is getting pissed being on a squad with more losses than his old club, and is looking to sign somewhere else... meanwhile friend #1's squad, at the end of the season, is developing slowly but surely into a decent team. Friend #3 is in hot water, as Totti is asking for a huge contract and they don't have the cash to support both him and the talent they need as a playmaker.

Anyway, I digress...

I would love it if they simply ported the transfer-player system along with aging and stat gain into the already present create-a-league mode as well. Anything to allow for dynamic and interesting long-term multiplayer experiences, as other sports games have done.

First off well said Jake Small I feel the same way.

I must admit tho, 5 players might be a little much but i wud like a minimum of 2 players

wots every 1 elses thoughts on this? And most importantly....... Does any 1 kno if ML will be multi-player?

i think that we wouldnt need multiplayer master league if konami would just add more difficulty levels(up to 10 stars id say) and make the computer ai during the transfer season alot more competitive so all the teams would be building themselves up just as you do. also just to make it that little bit more interesting they could make it so if you have a player say ronaldinho, and the comp makes a bid for him if he wants to leave to join them you should have to accept to it otherwise run the risk of him playing utter shite next season.

Still Shocked

I'm not sure that I understand anyone's objections to ML being multi-player.
So far all that I have heard is that it would take too long.

If you only wanted to play by yourself, which I don't understand because playing the cpu compared to playing against friends is pure monotony, you could still do that, multi-player would just be an option you could choose (with as many teams as you wanted). The lenght wouldn't be too bad, it would be shorter than playing a year of madden with friends, and I know madden seasons work out fine.

Does anyone have a reason, other than the lenght, as to why this would be a bad idea? I think, other than improved game play, that this would be the best option to add to the game.
It works for madden, and has helped make it the most successful sports franchise in history, there's no reason it wouldn't work here as well.
It adds numerous dimensions to ML, and if you don't like it, don't use it.

obviously some people have waaaaaaaaay too much time on their hands, although it is a good OPTION to have, I would never use it, well maybe with my brother as we live togther. But it would take like 4monthes to do a season.

I can see that you're a very sensitive individual who gets shocked very, very easily so I urge you to sit down before you read what I'm about to say.

Having this multiplayer option would take the fun out of the whole thing. For example, have a look at what Jake was blithering on about. WHY!? How dare you make a nice, simple working idea into a complicated, stupid and frankly crap one.

I.e.

What the devil are you on about? Why are you trying to ruin the game?

Jesus Christy by the time you had all that rubbish sorted out the next instalment of pro evo would have been released.

Ruin the game? Your blatantly overstated hyperbole makes you sound like a douche. Anyway it's not in the game, so you can still buy it: unblemished by reminders of the complexity of social contact :)

Please note also that as stated the idea would be entirely optional, allowing those who find gaming with friends "too complicated" to continue to play the computer without ruining their pristine gaming experience.

You clearly don't understand the wrongness of this whole idea.

And I can't be bothered to argue with someone who thinks that typing a load of posh mumbo-jumbo makes their side of the argument even better. People that are right (like myself) do not need to dress up their argument in silly nonsensical talk.

Having a multiplayer option for ML will not hurt anyone, especially stevie baby cause you won't be using it....

for others unlike you who don't think this is a question of right or wrong.....would prefer to have such an option as it would be a great addition.

Fighting for the same player during the transfer window with ur friend or friends would be a different and welcomed experience.....play 5 minute matches...which could make it quick also....
i say yes to multiplayer.

Multiplayer ML would be pointless.

No people in a sane state of mind would play an entire season with their mates, especially if there is more then one. Unless your mates live at your house and do you really think they are gonna have as much time as you to play it (and of course watch you play your games). Boring.

ML needs tuning up a bit and one or two minor tweaks but apat from that its fine. If Konami pour all their effort into a two player ML which would take a while, having to sort out a system on how to purchase players and organise some sort of turn based system, that IMO would be time poorly spent. That time could be used to improve gameplay, graphics etc. It would also take up valuable space on the disc for console versions.

After seeing how long and boring it is after 5 minutes I doubt any of you would use it again - unless of course you are permanently sat in front of a TV with your mate.
