I'm stuck on Jonboyos guide(The Idiots Guide) because a) I don't know what a neurone is, b) Step 9, and c) on step 10 I can't find the file pes3.bat. Could you help me please?

A "neurone" means you have to use your brain. It's a kinda joke

When I used the guide, it went fine for me. Did you name the folders as the guide says?

what are the best cd-r's to use and how many megabytes does it require?

Depends on your PS2 model, some models, especially the old ones, have CD drives which accept only a few CDr types. A newer console should be able to play every type of CDrs. I would recommend Verbatim though, 700 MB.

I tried patching the patches I downloaded (jonboyos all ripkit 28.10.03, 281003-IOPRP271 and 281003-DNAS271) also with the isofile but it didn't work and the ppf o- matic 3 can only open ppf patch files. What should I do? (Guide from Jonboyos Idiots guide)

I have exactly the same problem. I downloaded it from lomungtungs too.

I have almost same problem but with JB`s 1.12.03anyripkit patch. Larger one (111,80 MB) is OK, thank god, but smaller one 11,63 MB) is corrupted. What should I do? PLZ help!!!

That's the patch i have installed. Ignore the smaller one. Just apply the big one. Remember: the ppf file is applied to the DATA_E.AFS and not to the bin (just follow tje guide that comes with the file).

Look at me now, i'm almost a professional patcher!!!

If I want to download something from lomugntung, for example, can I use another download manager? like Download Accelerator or GetRight or it´s just with the ones for FTPing?

Everything that will give you access to lomungtung is ok. But the speed is always the same, no matter which tool, it´s always something about 8-10 kb/s.
