I agree me and a few of my mates all got it and they think it is brill and i said the same to them that i thought it was like fifa.
Reasons.- do the tricks using the right anolgue stick
can only score from inside the box
u can not take people on they kinda grab on to u like in fifa

i was also disappointed as why change the start menu layout and stuff like that, plus i find myself passing it around (in pes3 it was said that the teeam mates make lots of runs) but i found myself waiting for them to run a by the time they had i was closed down and tackled. Plus i was so pissed off to see that most the palyers and teams are not updated like ronaldo and mutu for example so bascically my pes 2 was more up to date

i feel it has lost its magic the whole reason why pes was the best football game out there and why is the ball about a size 2 skills ball.

have u seen the way they run - thier legs both go in different directions, and they put their arms out like right puffs, the keepers have took a step back from pro 2

I agree with dream team, when you play your teams mate never make intelligent runs, they actually hardly ever set off on a run at all, just dordal around jogging in no particular direction, i didnt really notice this until after iv played the game for a bit, and its becoming annoying.

Also frustrating, how can i not beat defenders for pace even when using Henry, even with the double tap or the holding with R2 to make the ball go further, slow defenders will still keep up, its ok if i was say using Beckham but Henry, come on.

Keepers, just what happend to the keepers, has anyone seen a keeper make a decent save in pes3? cuz i know i havent. I dont get why they are now so poor, in pes2 the keepers were in my opinion almost perfect.

If youv sat down with a couple of ur mates to play tho, then u'l know this game is awsome. The game opens up and goes to a whole new level. Most probly because its more exciting playing with mates, but also in the game you can control the runners, and this makes a huge difference.

At the moment from where im at (still getting used to pes3) i would say yes. But thats purely cuz iv played the game ever since it came out and know all the in's and out's of it, and dont for pes3. How long / much u been playing pes3?

u can get the players making runs and stuff u just need to alter ur tactics from the tactics u r used to using.
for my first couple of games it was pissing me off to, but the once you have figured out formations etc(they work v.differently from pes2) ur players run where u want them to.

it is a much better game than pes 2 (which i loved by the way), it is hugely more realistic.

and it has got a slight stutter , but it doesnt actually affect the flow of the game or how u play

Played it till 2AM! PES2 and PES3 are in 2 different worlds! (to answer sheringham316's quezzie) PES2 was to arcady and to score, even on the hardest difficulty is to just walk in and out of the opposition! I just love PES3!

to be honest, i have no problems with it, but my mate had the exact same views as you but now loves it.

i would say give it another go, pes 3 being Sh*t is more than a little harsh, cos if you add club football & Fifa '04 together then you dont get 50% of PES 3, it really is dagenham & Redbridge vs Real Madrid.

i dont like the idea, but it is a game that you have to WANT to get into in my Opinion. if you've played pes2 for as long as i have you will find it so different that you dont want to get used to it! but once you do problems will disperse to a minimum, although i do still have issues about the longevity of master league compared to its predecessor.

People said the same thing about pro evo 2, about how pro evo was better etc. It's perfectly understandable; when you're so accustomed to one game it's hard to feel comfortable when someone changes it.

I'd say give the game a good few weeks of solid play; maybe when you start winning games and scoring fab goals you'll change your mind.
If you still think it's shit after that, then try fifa or TIF 2004.

changes from WE to PES

i m not sure how to put this but there are differences in the game between WE and PES but i m not too technical so i wont be able to say excalty what.

Konami have been trying to improve the flow of the WE and PES games and they have been doing a very good job. People just need to get on with it and accept that the game play has changed but keeping the same elements that has made WE and PES the best football game ever.

a couple of people have mentioned that theres been a big change from PES 2 to 3 and that other people have been dissing PES 3 but like many have said before, give PES 3 a chance and play a couple of games, not with just the computer but also with a friend and then you will begin to understand the changes and before you know it, the game becomes tacit to nature.

i did not feel this way about pes 2 i love it from the first game.
pes 3 has spoilt the game in some ways and i don`t think that how ever much u play it . there will still the stupid things like shots outside the box going over the cross bar ,slow defenders catching up with players like Henry,( someone said that it is more realistic as players can not just take off a leave other players standing What? don`t they watch real matches of cause players like Henry and duff can

i think alot of poeple who are disapointed with pes 3 are the ones who dont judge it on its realism.

when i first played pes3 i was gutted i thought it sucked, much perceverance and time and changed my judgement now.

if someone is disapointed it might just be the fact that it isnt as much fucn to play.

we need to stop judging games on realism as long as games are fun thats all that matters, so let the people who prefer pes2 play that and dont try and change thier views.

Anyone who thinks PES3 is complete shit cannot be pleased regardless of what new developments are made with the game. And so could they please take their greet'n faces down to Game and buy FIFA 2004 when its out and leave us PES3 fans to enjoy our game. I for one am satisfied with it. Theres no pleasing some people out there folks!
