Yeah I could do with some more celebrations. I usually do the cartwheel because it's about the only one I know how to do.

It doesn't really matter, as according to the commentary they are all variations of the aeroplane anyway.

And Nifty, I'm pretty sure it says that you are the best rated defender in the team.

No wonder we concede so many!

I think it's more of a case that there aren't any other defenders in the squad.

I got a rating of 9.90 in one match yesterday, but the others were 5.49 and 6.27 or similar.

I will get better, for sure - I'm not an idiot - I just need to adjust to the idea of playing one player at all times. If I really concentrate and treat it like a real match, I reckon I can shut out a striker fairly effectively.

That being said, until my player gets some more pace he is going to get raped regularly. All it takes is for us to lose the ball while the back four are pushed fairly high up the pitch and my player is a sitting duck for anyone with a bit of pace. A chipped ball over the top leaves me no chance at present.

Nifty the rating system is biased in favour of attacking players. As a defender if you make just one serious error your rating can be completely wrecked for that match yet a striker/attacking midfielder can constantly lose the ball and still get a decent enough rating.

Original?, I believe you congratulated me on my superb corner kick which landed almost on the line at the back post for red to head in. Well, it was chelsea11 who crossed it, not me. He seemed quite adept at those back post corners as I scored a header from a similar method in a previous game.

Cheers for that by the way, got that accomplishment for crossing two consectutive matches.

DILKINGTON!
I turned into Inzaghi last night. That last goal felt damn good for so many reasons - stealing it from the goalkeeper, scoring with a shot when I had my back to goal, the goal being a 90th minute winner. I'd also asked Phats on MSN before that game how to do the dance celebration and was waiting to use it!

Try this link guys.

Despite having scored 701 times... I've used 5 celebrations in total, three of which were used once. I need to expand my repertoire... but the hand cupped around the ear has so many meanings,

When I score (I know you don't see that too often :faceplm:), I just tend to twiggle analog stick and hold down some buttons, and see what comes up. I quite like the knee slide.

More celebrations could be put in for FIFA 11, definitely. Simple ones are missing, like celebrating with the crowd, manager & sub bench, etc.

Be great if there were some "Psycho" celebrations to choose from, like this one:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JlqCCDh9XT0&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JlqCCDh9XT0&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Be an awesome way to celebrate and, y'know, intimidate the opposition :D:

I think for last-minute goals, you should be able to remove shirts and dive into the crowd. Obligatory bookings of course.

Be funny as well if you could write messages on the undershirts/vests.

Completely agree man. Hope you're jotting all these ideas down, EA!

I've already started making the walk-back-to-own-half-without-emotion my trademark celebration. Not that you'll ever see it.

Firstly, I do apologise for missing out on our chance to win that last match. I was reading a comment on facebook chat at the time. :faceplm: I promise I won't be on facebook at the same time next time out.

As for my 'goal' that was pulled back for the penalty.. :realmad: Would have been my first for the club. :crymore:

My corners...:erm: I have literally no idea why they have so much whip on them. Hit the crossbar once, which has left me tempted to go for goal every time now, but I must refrain from that!

Just so you guys know I sent a request on Fifa to join the team. I created my player as a defender. I need to build him up more but hopefully I can help out at the back :)

We're just finished playing for tonight but I'm sure you'll be accepted tomorrow and welcomed into the team. I'm just starting out with them as well. Starting to get the hang of it now.

Oh by the way, the formation of 3 up front is much better imo. Well for the matches I played in, anyway.

Someone has accepted the request as I remember seeing it saying "eziof has joined the club" in the club news.

I'll forgive you for not playing me through, as I decided to take the penalty myself rather than giving it to you... the thought crossed my mind. Honestly, it did... well it didn't but in hindsight.

I got 8 in 8 tonight, not including the goals scored against idiots that quit. I'm quite disappointed though as I feel I deserved a few more, in particular, the free kick from out wide 32m 90th minute... crashed off the bar with the keeper beaten. Summed up my night I feel.

Yeah I didn't expect you to give it to me anyway. You did the work to get there and got fouled so you should take it. (It was you that got fouled wasn't it? ha)

Mr Inzaghi over here is liking his late goals.

chelsea11, the thing I've noticed - and feel free to ignore me - is you take that tiny bit too long to play your pass, shoot or cross a lot of the time resulting in you being tackled.

That said, my passing from CF ranged from great to ridiculous; apologies in the main go to Original? for that. By the way, you had me laughing tons when you were going absolutely mental in one of the last games

I still have no fucking clue how I dummied the ball on the line either. Dragonfly was in a scramble with a defender and the goalkeeper and the next thing I know the ball is slowly moving between my players legs as I'm frantically pressing shoot. The plank. That in the game after I'd scored a hat-trick AND blazed the ball over the bar from 15 yards when up against the goalkeeper.

Hmm.

I know this. A lot of the time it isn't my fault, my player just doesn't respond quick enough to when I press the buttons for some reason. Other times it's completely my own fault. I have terrible eye sight (and late at night after work etc.. this isn't helped by a constant rubbing to be able to see anything). When the sun is against the screen, in those smaller stadiums, I find it hard to see the ball let alone a team-mate quickly.
