Would anyone object to me playing just behind the striker tonight, and perhaps Joel ahead of me? Having a pacey guy who can run onto my passes (which I think I'm quite good at picking out) and headers makes sense. What doesn't make sense is me trying to play on the shoulders of the last man when I have no pace. This way I can still get in the box for headers and also not have to run around so much (no point in me running the channels as I sometimes do).

I think your guy would be perfect as attacking midfield bruiser winning headers, shoving people off balls and being an all round pain to get off the ball due to you immense girth.

I still think my "best" position is RAM or RM. Last nights debacle at LB (though we were outclassed by a brilliant team where none of us exactly shone) shall never be repeated.

If everyone doesn't mind throwing a game (barring a miracle), I think me and you Jonno - for one game only - should play at centre-back tonight. The laughs could be considerable.

You say I'm huge but yet my guy gets knocked off the ball and falls over far too easily. I think EA need to correct the mechanics of the game in this respect.

Can you bump up your VP's weight any more Barn? Maybe that will make him tougher, so to speak. I think the two of you should try at least one game in defence, maybe have someone in goals too just to add to the debacle.

I was actually thinking of changing my VP to sweeper. Ball control and passing is still pretty good.

Hadn't thought about changing it given that it's one match, but I suppose I probably should. Might also turn on the acrobatic clearance trait for the occasion.

I asked simply because I didn't know and, also, I like to know which foot people are stronger with, so that I can position myself better for when they pass and, hopefully, place my own passes for them, so that it goes to their stronger foot.

It doesn't make too much of a difference to me, since I have five star week foot and try to play it simple and to feet. For some reason, the higher my passing rating, the more wayward my through passes. Too much swerve, which takes it away from my target. My vision is also quite high, so I don't know what's wrong there.
