About training?

In PES from last years on ML, have the option that put any player (for example Messi), that was on a position, like Striker, then you have the option to training him to another position like "defender" (for example), of course that process take some weeks.

My question is: this option comes in this year PES?
I don't see that on ML.

It certainly doesn't look like it's there this year.

By the way, what's the deal with training this year? Some stats reduces when you focus on a certain training area (of course) But then you change it and the areas you just increased will decrease again and so on.. Point being can your team ever get really good this way?

This year, you just play them in the desired position and they'll learn it eventually. Along the way, they bitch and moan about being played out of position, but then they pick up the new position.

Ok guys, this worries me. On another forum I saw some guy saying that the individual training option had been removed in pes 2012. As training my young players in the ML has been one of the main reasons I play pes for years and years now, I hope you guys can tell me it is still possible to train the youngsters and thus making them into absolute legends. Maybe it is an option you have to buy from the pes shop? Or maybe you missed an option when you started youre ML?

It just occured to me; if the players you are talking about are old (say above 30) it is normal the stats decrease. Also, is there an option to chosse between dynamis and normal development like in 2011? In the dynamic version, players stats would decrease if the didn't get to play games.

Yep, i think too that option have been removed. I check every thing to buy on the PES Shop and Nothing. Option, nothing.

The progress of the players who have been up to the Youth Team, are tooooooo slooooow.

Big Fail on the ML of PES 2012

I read in another forum that during the first season the development of the team is basically "negative". Apparently, in the second season we will see a huge development of young players.

so if theres no dynamic development you cannot improve players due to performances and instead its standard where its fixed regardless of performances. forget ML if that's the case and i'm off too BAL

Although its a ball ache u have to mix up your training everyday or two so everything improves train your players to much n they get unhappy and fatigued its more realistic but quiet annoying it has to be said.

Yeah but that means that it's almost impossible to ever get a decent team, since the stats decrease depending on your area of focus regarding training regime. And if you use one regime to long the players will come speak to you and say they get bored.
That's very realistic though i must admit. But has anyone any ideas to get around this?

so things like training improves your players - is there any other factors which could make player's stats raise higher?

The new training system isn't as bad as it seems. Sure it's annoying, but if you just cycle through the different training regimes all your players will get better. I'm sure someone will come up with the perfect strategy for this, but just cycling seems to work fine.
I'm almost through my second season and all of my players have better stats than when I first acquired them.

atleast player growth is more realistic instead of improving to 100 which was so stupid but now konami have fixed it

Guys for gods sake, everyone wants everything so easy done. The more difficult things gets, it becomes more realistic. 1% of youngsters in top teams actually come to first team action and get first team lineup in the first year of playing. Not even messi, he was a sube for giuly back in 2006. So relax, ML needs to be a mode where you play for a long period of time and then you get the results.

Nice explanation.... but I enjoy a lot more the old version of ML!!!

I've had the best luck with cycling through all, but emphasizing physical (defense) and technique (offense)…at least with the default players.

What I REALLY miss from last year are the weekly reports of player stat improvements.

Also, because I've seen it mentioned, I have seen improvement in a few of the better players - Shimizu, Ettori, Palmieri (I think everyone has the same default youth team players), but most players aren't improving.

Shimizu is a beast in my league. 20 years old - signed him halfway through season 1 and he is over 80 in overall now. He came in to the office asking for number 10 after having played just one season! He did well, but still waaay to early i think.

But won't your teams overall stats decrease no matter what and how often you cycle through the regimes?

Your coach comes to your office reporting changes in stats every week, and no matter what regime i use, some stats will decrease. Please elaborate :)
