so you do get the 1.3 update? was thinking of getting the euro version but aren't our playstations the wrong region? if so can you also get the von option file cause i would be buying tonight

far from being an expert, but I think that PS3 are region free. So u can run the european version. the only problem being the possible lag when you play online because you have to connect to a server oversea.
von option file should work once you get the euro version.
Again, i'm not an expert. I might be wrong.

thanks for the info. my buddy said he thought they were region free but wasn't sure either. and i gave up on online play long ago so no worries there, thanks again

I got 1.30 already, no need for an European account here.
PS3 is region free, you can play any game from any region in the US PS3.
I got Von OF yes. But I think SKS OF is better. Matter of fact I'm modifying it already. :)

hey everyone, I am talkin to d howard and he offered to help me with PNGs so I can make an american classic/all time teams for the american version...i dont know what the deal is with the update so i guess time will tell, but i wanted to see if anyone was interested or wanted to help

so far i have made rough teams for man utd, barca, real madrid, and ac milan, i use the classic players available as well as some current players and adjust their stats slightly to reflect their prime, or their skills on said team i.e. figo for barca is faster with better dribbling speed, beckham is more like his man utd version etc...also i have used pesstatsdatabase for alot of the classic players and certain legends not in the game, ie di stefano, sanchis, nicky butt, kubala and the like...the database site, i just found out is down until march 1st which may delay things, but if you guys wanna work on some teams, maybe bayern, liverpool, juventus, ajax etc, and when i have pngs and the database is back up we can throw it together. Anyone else interested? we could also include the champs league winning teams from the last 15 years or so. I am modeling my work on the classic club option file in the works in europe. this will be the american friendly version

Yes, the PS3 is not region locked. You could play the Japanese version if you wanted to. It's only the downloads that are region specific. So, with a EU version of the game the downloadable content from there will work.

They HAVE to be putting 1.20 and 1.30 into one combined update... or so I hope... that is one of the few things that they could do to redeem themselves.
