I think that SOME abilities depend on registered position like scoring and other like shooting from distance depend if you get the MF options ticked (1 is enough I believe).

my registered is SS and i have SMF ticked.

wow i realy hate this system... i havent played as SS for about 6 seasons and when i get to the team of the season i show up as SS...

shaun, I think we had the exact same career in BAL- I started as a SS, got CF and SMF ticked and currently playing at liverpool. Did you by any chance play for tottenham and chelsea?

I got it around that. I think I'd hit 80 on shot power and accuracy but I'm not sure.

I recently acquired the 1-1 scoring ability. (About 20 games back or so)

What I dont understand is how this effects the scoring. In many situations one on one with the goalkeeper the keeper saves. I tried chipping shooting hard or place it into the corner. I turned back to faking the goalie or going around him.

Any ideas on how this ability effects your game?

Can you elaborate on how it has changed your shooting from distance?

For me my shots are better placed and hits the target but rarely have I scored from distance

The shooting from distance has became much easier with the ability.
I can score more goals and the accuracy has definately been increased and so is the power and technique. But shooting from close to medium range has little effect with this ability.
As I said, shooting from distance is most effected.
