I'll try to get some pics up. I'm working now, so can't get them today for ya.
But if pics are needed to prove my honesty, then that's what I'll do. I promise you all that it's the case though, you CAN get 9 stars.
I'll also show you all my stats all played on Top Player - 500 goals in 400 games - and then you'll say that I doctored my pics! LOL! I think if I do the save screen you'll see that it's on Top Player - is that right?
*They'll be terrible quality btw, I'll just take it on my mobile and post up, but hopefully you'll believe that it can be done. If not, why don't you try to give it a go yourself? Then you can believe your own eyes!

i didn't realise stats were limited to 95, thats a shame!

This is all on Top Player, and as I've explained on previous theads I find the best way to play is to dribble, be super selfish and get as many shots on target as you can. I restarted a lot of games the first couple of seasons and most of my goals came from his size at near post corners. If you make the right runs you get a lot of chances that way. Now I have these stats, it's simple to bang in goals; the square/x dummy is way too effective against the computer opponents if you time it which shouldn't be the case with the highest difficulty.
Anyway, forgive the way he looks! I play Rock Band and have the exact same dude as a drummer. As a joke I made him on BAL and had THE killer scout match scoring two and getting an (rare!) assist. So, I had to carry on!

Cheers mate. I've sort of stopped playing BAL now and have started with some online ranking 1v1 matches - once STEVE got to this point it's not much fun playing with him as goals are too easy to come by. I just wanted to prove that you can get 9 stars, and for the record I have tested to see if you can get more than that, and you can't. You can see teamwork is 74, and it's a couple of games off 75 that would normally get you another star, and I didn't get it.
I'm sure I'll start again with him soon, but for now I'm smashing up some Barca fanboys instead!
I just got scoring ticked it was right at the end of the season. Total goals was 38, but in the last 3 matches I scored a hat-trick in each game. I'm not sure which achievement activated the ability. My guess would be hitting the 30 mark. But then again scoring hatricks might be it! Sorry can't be much more help.

Just, use up that little extra effort it takes to spell something correctly. It's extremely annoying.
Anyway, yeah it is weird that you didn't get Scoring after scoring in 5 consecutive matches. Are you sure it was five consecutive league matches?
If you are, than it might be linked to a certain stat aswell.

i dont think that MF can get it. i also thought that forwards cant get the shooting from distance ability but i got it with SS as a registered position.
