When you're using your headset on MW2, can you hear yourself talking or can you just hear what everyone else who has a headset is saying?

I've just had a few games on FIFA (off-topic I know, sorry) with my headset on, the other guy didn't have one, and when I was talking through it the sound icon came up in the corner to show that I'm talking, but no noise on the TV.

Found it quite annoying.

It's the same. You can't hear yourself, but you see the icon to show that you're talking.

I'll just use it when playing PESGaming Club matches or if a few of us are on MW2 and have headsets.

Just had it on, playing against some total randomers (only a couple of them had headsets) and it was pointless. When the match was underway, I couldn't hear them saying anything, don't know if it was muting them out or they just weren't saying anything lol. When they were saying something, I could hardly hear them, and I've set the volume to 5, which is the highest it goes.

Then in pre-match lobby, this kid's blasting out 'Meet Me Halfway' by the Black Eyed Peas lol.

I got the official headset too, does the job well - I had a cheap one before and it kept making annoying sounds.

A few things I can say on the games I played with you guys; Original, you're deadly with that sniper, annoying when playing against you sometimes - your high accuracy percentage shows how accurate your shots are.

And Berry, you beat me a few times with a close range 1 on 1 - this was all down to how quick you were on the trigger! nice.

Mig, just keep your legs down, ha.

Yes, I remember that! But any other you just thrash me all over, you and del ganging up on me :ninja:.. I'm gonna have to start playing more cautiously haha (there were plenty of occasions where I were running into your path and handing kills on a plate :tongue, I die too much which is making my kill:death ratio embarrasing.

The Scar-H assault rifle is my favourite gun to use at the moment, closely followed by the Vector. I'd say I'm better at killing from long-range with a gun like that, than I am with a sniper rifle lol.

I do like having you on my team, in a few games, I was about to get killed, but you killed the opponent before he could finish me off. One game you and myself just dominated, which was pretty cool.

It'd make sense for you to use one as a sniper, as you can see what is happening a lot.

Thanks, glad I could be of service! I do tend to get a few 'rescues' though I always feel a bit bad when I get an 'avenge a team-mate', if I'd been a split second faster it could have been a rescue!

Yeah, when we were both on form we slaughtered the other team. Seemed to work well together.

That's the plan, sometimes I know one of my team are going to walk head first into the business end of a machine gun and there's nothing I can do.

Glad people take note of the accuracy percentage, quite proud of it... I'm 6000th-ish in the world and a large number of the people ahead of me are people who have first <100 shots etc. Moreover I'm glad that you get annoyed when playing against me... you're certainly annoying when you're on the other team; I'm happily picking off people only to have an entire magazine emptied into my face... and it's always you or Del! :realmad:

Tonight, nearly all the matches I've been in, I've been kicked out by the servers... The game will be just like normal, but then the game starts to flicker, I get thrown all over by the lag, and then it'll boot me out, and I lose all the score I got in that game up to that point.

I resetted my router, tried again and the same thing has happened in every game I've joined. I have no idea why this has suddenly started happening, I hope it doesn't carry on in future.

This been happening to anyone else? If it has, then that would be less concerning, I guess..

(In the menu it says "Your NAT Type: Open"... is this what it should be?)

I haven't played it tonight but my NAT Type is usually on strict..? not sure what that means though unfortunately.

I kept getting kicked out when I was in a party and got those messages too but it was fine when I was just by myself. I think my NAT type was "normal", still feel I have a really bad connection when I'm watching killcams. Some pretty good games tonight in terms of excitemtn, shame I'm as bad as BarnDoor.

The only saving grace from tonight was that I didn't have to mong about on Scrapyard. I had three games earlier where I took something like 22, 29 and 32 kills - I log on tonight and it all goes to pot.

Uggh.

Also, Orig, the thermal scope is top notch in my book. It gives you just about unlimited range on maps like derail and allows some cheap kills on maps like Skidrow.

It takes some getting used to but it's worth it's weight in gold when you can poach some kills from absolutely miles off.
