APPARENTLY (I say in caps because I haven't witnessed myself) but if you look on YouTube it would appear that patch they made us download has fucked many games up (giving limited ammo and quickfire, and sometimes doesn't let matches end). Search for Modern Warfare 2 glitch and sort by Newest.

Played a couple of games there with Skellverine. I had one bar signal! Still managed to get 29-5-10 or something along those lines though and won by one kill.

I've had a bad connection today as well.

I was still able to tear it up in the few games I was in, I think I only had 1 game out of about 5/6 where I ended up with less than 20 kills. I'm sure the general lag for everyone else aided that somewhat but I'll take my small victories as they come.

Aye my connection was shit but i was still getting more kills than deaths in every match so i'm happy with that, defiantely using TAR-21 over the SCAR-H now.

I had 3 bars for most of my games. I think we played 4 rounds, only once I was in the same team as you.

Getting killed by you is damn annoying, :D

I now dislike quite a few maps that I was initially quite fond of, as well as now having a soft spot for certain maps that used to be insta-skips.

I now hate Derail, it's just an awful, boring map which is either a boring sniper fest or a tit for tat shotgun showdown in the middle. Estate can also be rather dull with everyone clambering for the murder house.

Favela is somehow getting better and better, it's just lovely. Nearly had a nuke on it a minute ago :'[

I have always hated those maps, Badge. Derail is just to opened for my liking. It comes no where close to Sub Base, imo.

I too like Fevela a lot. It has a nice feel to it.

I am loving the AK-47. Beautiful gun that doesn't fuck about. The aim is perfect and an attachment isn't really necessary.

Just out of interest which gun would u rather use the Scar-H or the Tar 21? getting abit peeved with the scar and in 1 v 1 straight up gun fights i always loose out most of the time.

also them akimbo shotgunner are peeing me off.

It all depends on your style of play. The Scar-H has better accuracy but the TAR 21 has a better fire rate, meaning the TAR is easier for 1 on 1's but the Scar is easier for long shots. Also, if you find your accuracy is not very good, then your better off choosing the Scar otherwise you'll just get frustrated with long shots using the TAR. Likewise, if you're quick on the trigger and not afraid to face 1 on 1’s then use the TAR.

Remember not to get stuck on the assault rifles, experiment with the sub machineguns and snipers, you just might find your forte!

People keep complaining about glitches (unlmited ammo, the game putting you in that mode it wants), but I haven't come across this yet. I think the people complaining are 360 users, so maybe that explains it.

Any PS3 users experienced any of this yet?

Yesterday around dinner time my ratios were fine and from around 7 i've been bloody terrible. Started using the M4A1 which is fairly decent recoil is barely there, really want to unlock the M16A4 too. Famas is pretty good too.

Nope. I've experienced nothing out of the normal.


Except for some shooting me with akimbo 1887's from about 50 yards. May aswell have had a fucking sniper scope on them. Cunt.

Had quite a good session last night especially after i added the fgm (whatever its called attachment) and the holographic sight attachment.

does that fgm actually do anything? or am i just imagining doing better now.

I have it as one of my classes, however I tend not to use it too much. I find in 1 v1s you are pretty much useless, unless you have really quick hands to be able to aim and get them in the head before they blast you into the dirt. As for accuracy, it's pretty good. Put it with stopping power and a decent sidearm for 1 v1s and you're sorted

I used to love the G3, however, this is the only single fire rifle in the game and I'm not sold on the iron sights. If I attach an ACOG or a Thermal Scope, I might as well whip out my Barrett and blow people away in one or two shot maximum. The FAL generally takes two shots even with stopping power. I can't decide how much I like it, I think I'll have to give it another go.

I generally pack a shotgun for close quarters, M1014 or AA12, very handy.
