I only did Borussia Dortmund. Half of the players you will find as free agents and the other half you will have to create. So yeah it depends on which team. Look it up, and watch the videos.

Sorry but kinda of an ignorant question... how do you "swap" teams between leagues? Is there an option on edit mode? I can't see any.

But now on, you can't call it "simulation" anymore.
It's imprecise and also too much randomness on what you want to do and what occurs on the pitch. Penalties for a simple contact even if you don't have push any buttons, weird "rebond direct-goal" if you know what i mean... Defensively less compact, come back of the "all-speed" players, well... Fifa 15 with good goalkeepers.
Players animations "teleporting", no weight taken in account when you change direction, no gravity center gestion like in PES, all players feels approximatively the same to control. Well, the problems of inertia and gravity center was there before the 1.02 patch, but everything was slower paced and fited to the engine so the feeling was very natural.
It that was a truely decent and well offense/defence calibrated footy game, now it's a frustrating and uncomprehensive game: everything can occurs randomly. I buy both franchises every year and this year is the worst since a long time in terms of football games. I think i need to make a one year break, seriously...
I give you an good advice: retry Fifa 11 pc version in full resolution or PES 2014.
Fifa 16 is not even close to that in terms of physicality and realism. Or PES 2013 in terms of balance.

Actually, the only gameplay changes (PS4) are optimised goal-keeper: rushing; positioning; and AI.
They also fixed a rare error concerning a shot missing the top corner and being called a goal. The rest of the changes were related to FUT, which I do not play. I only play Career Mode.
This is according to the log that can be seen when you press the 'options' button, then go to 'Update History' (For FIFA 16).
So, it still is a good computerised simulation of the real game as far as I'm concerned. Try playing on fully manual settings, alter your team's formation; player roles; tactics etc. It's a very configurable game- I play on the 'slow' speed. You could even alter the slider settings (I haven't had to yet this year- although I did quite extensively last year).
There are few things FIFA is better at than PES:
1. Shooting, it's much more realistic in FIFA and isn't razor sharp as PES shooting, it's ridiculous how accurate the shooting is in PES, it rarely ever goes way up or out of the far corner, it's always straight even from long distance. Make the speed and bouncing of the ball in shooting like FIFA. If PES fixes this it's gonna be untouchable gameplay wise, as well as other things.
2. Goalkeeping, in FIFA they position very well and I like how they fly to the ball and basically how they react to it, unlike in PES the golies know very little on how to jump, react and position. But it's not fully their fault, the shooting in Pes makes it even harder for them.
3. Presentation and content, no reason to talk about it, everyone knows. But this isn't game breaking and wouldn't be the reason to go play FIFA.
4. Roster update, lol. It's so lame, I don't know why Konami does this, how hard is it to be up to date. I'm pretty sure if you hire those from PES community they will have no problem finishing it much faster.
5. Skits, in FIFA they use the right material for the uniforms, and looks very neat, while in PES it looks messy and the material of the clothing doesn't fit that well.

I agree with your posting, I hope Konami become motivated enough to catch up and maybe even eclipse FIFA; competition is a good thing!

One quick question before I down load the update, I created some players editing on top of fake players, some with preset faces but there copies all the same the question is will i lose all my data? Or should i base copy them on created players? Not 100% sure if the fake team players reset.

Im not that super much worried about missing transfers... Afcorse, its very important, but its only the tip of the iceberg. AI defence is completely broken. Its not even december and I am already bored with this game, bored of scoring tons of goals each game, bored of going through 2-3 defenders all the time, with any player I want, against any opponent there is. It doesnt feel rewarding, no. You just score and score and score game after game, without even really trying. Since Superstar is officially broken, I decided to start ML using Top Player difficulty. It used to be more stable, AI defending was less broken, up until I`ve started playing with Barca. I`ve passed the ball to Messi and left 3 AI defenders behind me, run straight into box, 2 other defenders that were left, started going backwards, leaving me a completely free corridor and all I had to do is to score a goal from few metres. So... I cant even play it on any level, because the same problems persist all over. Maybe not so often as on Superstar, but it still does exist on Top Player as well. I can comfirm that. I probably hurried too much buying this game, had to examine demo a bit closer. Anyway, cant return it now. The only solution would be a patch, which we know nothing about. One can only guess, if it will be sorted out or will it remain the same for whole year.
By the way, Im a bit surprised that not that much people are reporting AI defending problems. When I check twitter, its mostly about goalkeepers, online, transfers most recently. Like if I`ve got all the transfers, I can finally start playing ML. I`ve never seen comments about Superstar being litterally unplayable, when you can just walk straight into the net, because all CPU players start retreating from the ball. Its a game breaker in the middle of the day, but somehow not many people know about it/havent noticed it/are fine with it?? Its strange and I dont get it a bit. Maybe its me, the way I play, that I constantly exploit and attract these glitches?? But there is no other way, each time you play 1on1, you beat any defender, just by going through it. It can be a player with overall 55 and it can be Messi, no difference. I`ve sent some tweets to Konami, with video material that I made about this problem, but never got an answer.

AI defense isn't necessarily broken, superstar is just inconsistent. Plus if you're playing against a weak team, you will obviously win by a lot. To me it's not always that case. 3-2 or 2-1 is a reasonable score for me. Plus if you're playing in 0 difficultly, it's a lot easier to score. Change it to -1 or -2.

Absolutely pathetic. False promises, possibly lying to the consumer. Then when it goes wrong he's more illusive then Lord Lucan and Jack the Ripper combined.
I rarely like to see people lose their job but the way the guy conducts himself is not fitting of a company the size of Konami.

Fair enough, he blocked me for criticising him (no swearing, threats, abuse) for bragging about his promotion when people were annoyed about original roster fiasco. So obviously I haven't seen those tweets. I hope someone asks him about the 'tonnes of stuff' that was personally promised.
