Is winning eleven going to have multiple demos,or could it be that this is what the second pes demo is going to be like.

From what I gather from other forums, the US and European demo is a lot more compressed. Don't know why, but it seems they rushed the European and American relsese, not to mention the US and Xbox demo was/is delayed.

There wern't major differences which I hope is in the second one, just minor ones which make the game better, mainly the goalkeepers are better.

The Japanese demo is about a 90% representation of the final game.
I don't understand how PES2012 had been rushed while WE2012 wasn't, seeing as WE2012 was released earlier. Also the GKs are an area that Konami are focusing on in an effort to improve them significantly before the full release. I have both demos and there is no notable difference between the 2.

You are right.

Rumors are being treated as solid facts around here when a new release gets close.

just played the DEMO again n try to like it..but i just cant....close it even before half time

Maybe a decent footy game isn't your cup of tea then.

Seriously though, I actually agree with Amateur to a certain degree, maybe the game is flawed from the bottom. But it's not impossible to make a decent game out of it.

I don't think the demo is so bad, the final release needs several adjustments, and the final result depends on how thorough they do the fine tuning.

What do you think is so wrong, udin23?

The PES demo is crap, the Japanese Winning Eleven demo is a later code and much more enjoyable. I suggest all you make a japanese account and try it, you will be pleasantly surprised! Goalies better, pace of game better, turn of players more suddle, shooting better, everything better even the nets!

ya there is! the WE demo is much more refined, the keepers are miles better than the PES demo and player movement is better, not as arcadish + passing and shooting feels better. No way are both WE and PES demos that are currently out on PS3 the same, no way!

the 2nd demo will probably be better than the WE demo but pretty similar I would think. If thats the case you'll be happy, the WE demo is pretty good!

I say if the PES demo is 75% build the Japanese WE one is 85 to 90% pure guess ofcourse....

That's some pretty good news right there Dieci, sounds like the 2nd demo will be considerably better than what we've had so far.

Just noticed that on WE version you don`t have to do all your passing settings and feints after each match, big plus because on the PES version its a bloody pain in the arse having to do everything again.

Finally got some time to really play, biggest gripe is how ridiculously good technically every single AI player is. Never a loose touch, ball glued to them, even if you manage a tackle that gets the ball (I think I'm averaging two or three a game, dribblers still react before your player even goes into the animation and leave you stuck on the ground), or a player runs into your defender, they glide through and the ball comes right back to them likes it's on a string. Michael Carrick plays like Michael Laudrup!

Right stick player selection is clunky, and I'm annoyed they've left the strategy button on Select. Also, keepers are still kinda pants, and shooting is weird.

On the plus side, passing is fantastic, though I do get the occasional freakout where my defenders will seemingly intentionally underhit a pass (regardless of power) straight into the path of an attacker and the game won't give me anybody nearby and/or won't let them respond.

Tons more variety in animation, and much improved AI movement make the game look much more realistic. Faster players can actually outrun slower ones, finally, which is nice, though the whole game tends to be a little too fast and stretched, even on -2 game speed, imo. Don't want another arcadey PES!

Some definite improvements, some things not so improved. If they keep building on this, however, it could be the best PES in a long time.

When you get used to defending you wont get beaten all the time.

In PEs2011 i actually had gamespeed on -2 but in the demo -2 the ball moves in slow motion despite players having right speed so i played demo in -1.

ball moves too slow even on 0 btw, hope they fix it because players turning and so is a bit too fast on 0 already.

Ok buddy, you have your opinion and I have mine. Just out of curiosity, do you speak Japanese, or understand it, for that matter? If you are playing PES 2012 on Top Player and tinkering with the assisted settings, this would probably explain the perceived difference you are referring to? To be honest, there are too many variables that cannot be controlled in order to give a truly conclusive answer. So you may be just as mistaken as I am. :) Either way, there will be no difference between the final games, and if there is then Konami are going a bit loony and may have lost the plot. WE is a Japan exclusive, where as PES is worldwide. Their main objective is to sell their game, and based on a reference (http://gamrreview.vgchartz.com/sales/43332/pro-evolution-soccer-2011/), and you can see that Japan contributes 25% approx. of their total sales for the given period. It's not logical to cater for the minority.

Also the fact that WE 2012 was released first indicates that the game was ready. Now what you are saying is that instead of just porting the Jap version or translating it, they opt to create a completely different game? Surely, translating is the more rational choice and can't be so complicated as to cause a change in the code? It's a placebo dude, your mind really is playing tricks on you.

I downloaded WE 2012 a full 24 hours earlier, at least, and there is no conclusive way to test and discern any differences. For the experiment to be valid, you need a control, and for scenarios to be replicated almost perfectly. You need the following to be the same in all the test games:

1) Teams
2) Line Up
3) Form
4) Tactics
5) Difficulty Settings
6) AI assistance where relevant

Furthermore, I can't believe that Konami would double their work load and create a better game for Japan, honestly, as opposed to focusing on one game, and making a better product for everyone? It's not logical or wise?
