yes this is accurate, was a bigger problem in 2011 where I found myself just holding up the break to have them move and even then at times they wouldnt make the cut. This is where we miss the arrow system IMO.

I was a little dissapointed to read the new controls for off the ball include R3 for off the ball manuevering. I have never liked any game where the R3 (PS3) has to be pressed and held while moving the analog stick in a direction. Many times, moving the R analog stick off center causes a depressing of R3 and a release of its effect.

Dit indlæg er da årtiets joke her. PES er ikke ens på nogen måde, men din argumentation er lige i skabet. Jeg tror helt sikkert, at Konami arbejder på spillet til den 13. oktober. Så skal de lige trykke et par millioner kopier om natten og så distribuere dem.

I was thinking of buying FIFA in all honesty, just because I've been playing FIFA 11 regularly over the course of last year and have gotten used to its gameplay. But after 20ish games of the PES12 demo, I have to say there's no way I'm moving to FIFA!
Sure there maybe the little niggles in the gameplay, but FIFA also has its faults. And if any FIFA fan tries to deny that, then I ask them if they have ever shouted "***** pass the ball/****** shoot!!!" at the TV.
Anyway, back to PES, I tried a typical Paul Scholes pass.. you know, one of them ones when he'd pick the ball out in the middle of the park and hit a long ball for Valencia to go and fetch in the corner, only I passed it with Anderson to Young, and it worked an absolute treat!!
It looked and felt so realistic.. I tried the same thing moments later but the ball was intercepted, so I was glad that the game isn't repetitive.
That really sums up the game for me... It's realistic and feels so natural and smooth. Like I said, the one or two niggles need to be sorted, but those who say KONAMI has messed up, then ask yourselves, 2 years ago, you wanted 360 degrees dribbling, better animationz, etc. KONAMI has done well to implement these things over the course of the last 2 years, so why are you guys complaining that they aren't doing anything?? FIFA would probably be a whole lot different if they too had a feedback forum, so this is where KONAMI have done well.
However, I'm not backing KONAMI up completely, because they try to fix unbroken things, which then end up breaking. Eg I had a goal that should have been ruled off for offiside. Yeah, they could have added a new feature called 'controversy', but my player was a good 4 yards offside and nobody on the opposing team complained. They also tried to fix penalties last year, but we all know how that turned out...
And I agree with the counter-attack post above, it's been a problem for ages and needs to be addressed...

Still none tried 2players at one team? Could share any experiences on how the cursor changings work? ..was absolute mess in 2011 (worse to any pes).
And one other very important question what came to my mind playin PES2011..
Does the AI pull off intelligent faints & tricks against a player in PES2012 demo?
Mostly never in PES2011, I see AI pull off faints.. or even more rarely INTELLIGENT faints.
Mostly AI tries running through your defence, hovers (cheats) through, or passes through your defence.
Very rarely really feints past your players. I'd like to see AI try feints a lot more.
(As I use them against AI so much )

Oh boy.... you don't know what you're going into...
They play like Messi and will dribble past you in a whiff... it's a bit overdone if you ask me... Gattuso doesn't make elasticos on every play (probably hasn't done one in his whole life).

Didn't like the demo at first, but now i'm looking forward to the game. Pes always has a learning curve when a new game is released. So used to playing pes 11 that i didn't like the demo at first.....bring on 2012!

Hopefully in that case they tune it a bit, but definitely this is a sign of improvement to me

What speed setting is every body using i am using -1 as it seems more realistic.
