WENB have released the much-anticipated details regarding the upcoming DLC, which Jon Murphy stated would bring a surprise to the PES community.

Here's the press release, followed by details and a selection of pictures:

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has revealed details of a free data update for PES 2011, which will be available from December 21st.

The download will be available for PlayStation(R)3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD users, and adds a number of new items to the game. Twelve kits have been updated within the game, including those of the Ireland national team, and some French clubs sides. Similarly, ten new licensed boots styles from manufacturers such as adidas, Puma, Umbro and Mizuno have been added.

Further free DLC will be released for PES 2011 during the coming year.







I'm not entirely sure why Jon Murphy stated that this DLC release would cause surprises. Nonetheless, I hope you're excited about the news.

It's always cool to have a new set of boots to choose from - as well as seeing teams' kits being updated.

I just finished my OF with the complete spain's 2nd division, and now because of a few kits and boots, all the effort is gonna be wasted time.

Why do they even bother - they say it with great pride like it's the highlight of our year when they release a dlc!it's a few kits and
a couple of pairs of boots that wreck your option file!

I love it when new boots are added, especially 10. However does this mean it will actually wipe the Daymos & Macheda V2 option file I have in place? I created FC United of Manchester to the option file too who I'm doing a ML with so I'll be very irritated if there's no other way to add this update pack. Would it not have been smarter from Konami to split this data pack into two parts, boots, and then the kits?

I'm not showing off but I have a USB stick which Daymos gave me, so I guess I won't have any problems...

Don't I have the choice whether to download it or not? I don't care about that at all, I'd rather keep me edited data.

I'd rather have them working on gameplay, since the community does data patching way better than konami does.

the patch I have is much better than this! I could care less about the boots taht I cant even see while playing unless its a replay. Will it mess up the patch?

it wont be man, only national teams will be reset if youve edited the 2nd divisions teams and players they will stay edited, only registered players will be reset

so the patch wont mess up my option file that has all the teams with their real kits including national teams like Brazil?
