The thing is you just got to cross your fingers when someone's putting a cross in the box .Because if you try and manipulate your cb into position off the ball in front of the striker he just ends up wandering of while the ball is in the air.Really is "pro evolution i'll hold your hand soccer 2012" this year.I really cannot understand anyone who thinks this game is acceptable online.Sure i know you can never get a true simulation of a football match, because it would need 90 minute matches but ffs they clearly aren't even trying to make it more realistic there just trying to attract a new fan base with this ridiculousness gameplay online.

1st what is soccer??
2nd this game has evolved since the ps1 and is a game loved by football fans who like to play the game tacticly and using the strenths of key players and formations (not like that kick about in the park fiffa)

so stop looking for attention and enjoy your basket ball game

so right, it is damn frustrating this year, i already clashed 2 controllers, 1 more than last year, but it's again a progress! wait for some lower ones and the fun is there again too. but it's gettin a little more like fifa, you cannot stop a non skill player with messi when you defend with agger or so, to fast for me but anyway, let's get a baconcheeseburger!

It's a fun game, but far from perfect or even realistic.
The crossing, passing, shooting, dribbling need to be fixed... so pretty much the game-play overall must be vastly improved. Shooting and defense takes some practice to make it better, but still not good enough. Crossing is super cheap and dribbling feels too good.

Mate you are a massive noob... the learning curve is STTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPP this year... my first season on ML was a distater finsihed second to bottom and Lost 17 games drew 5 won 5 ... thats a learning currve mate...

You are just frustrated as you suck...

This game is AMAZING>.. the best football game of all time... but it takes a lot of hours and a lot of gameplay to get there... drop your dificulty levels... read some guides... and chill out you big girl...

As has been said; crossing, shooting, passing, dribbling, and physics are tosh and need to be fixed. Everything in this game is on some golden path.

Wait a minute. over 200 games in pes 2012, and you hate the game with all its flaws. What?! why would ANYONE play a game they find boring and hate that freaking LONG. For me, i would never buy any fps games(the cod and halo kind, not the rpg ones ) ever again full stop. I used to like fps, but now everything feels so repetetive and boring. I mean, the only reason someone would buy a game is for its entertainment value. Despite any games flaws and niggles, if you did not like the 'fun' factor in it, and still play it, then there is something wrong with you.

The last regreted bought game for me is ff13 and mass effect 2. I couldnt even last more than 3 hours on each one.

Maybe because there are pretty much no other soccer games to play? And FIFA is the same crap.

Defending is still the most frustrating thing in this game.
In Pes 2011 i hardly used the x, most i did was good movement and some pressure at the right moment. In PES 2012 it is more focussed around pressing curtain buttons in a curtain order and then time it to be succesful. I still do not like it allthough i seem to learned to work with it.

PES 2012 is in terms of fun gameplay a failure, there are not many people who like the adjustment and do not want to put in some time to learn to deal with it and i can fully understand that. The PES ultra squad who play it a lot can deal with it but the yes lifers do not.

Stone me, but I can't believe all the negativity surrounding this year's release. I think this is the best PES since the glorious heights of PES 6. I can do all the things that I love and cherish such as shot cancel, chip, one-touch pass about, score scorchers and do measured through-balls.

Since friday whenever I play this (admittedly I've only really played MLO) I can't stop grinning whenever I catch myself leaping off the edge of my seat, whistling at close calls or pumping my fist at the air. If no-one else will say it I will: well done seabass, well done.
