I think it's because their styles gel so well in the game.

How did you make the Elimination Chamber match?

I didn't. There's two ratings for that match as I had to make two separate cage matches and just pretended :(

So many different mods out there for it, Barn. It's fun at the start, but eventually it gets tiring (like most things, tbh).

The tiring thing I can see already, but it is a good laugh. I started a 1986 one with the WWF. First thing I did of course was retire the Women's title and release every female wrestler aside from Moolah - and that was only because I'd have to pay her $3.2m for the privilege.

We now have Royal Rumble, Summerslam and Survivor Series in 1986. Another PPV event, The Big Event, will happen in late December, presumably going up against Starrcade.

Then it was time to bring in some talent. Brought in Kevin Sullivan along with Kamala, The Missing Link and Baron Van Rasche, forming a new stable, The Dungeon of Doom, together with Killer Khan. They've been attacking and calling out Hogan, despite him being in a feud with King Kong Bundy (this will end soon). Problem is, Sullivan is struggling to get over with any gimmick, and his segments have been low rated, about 35% - though I'm hoping that was because Outback Jack was involved in them. Plus Hogan is unhappy at the minute. He'll be even more pissed off when he drops the title to Sullivan at Summerslam.

Orndorff vs Steamboat is a safe bet, the crowd seem to like their brawl on the Snake Pit. They may vye for the vacant IC title at Wrestlemania, unless I find a way to do a tournament.

Big John Studd's feud with Andre the Giant has kicked off with a brutal 2 on 1 attack on Andre by Studd together with his Heenan family stablemate, King Kong Bundy. The fans don't seem to like this one yet.

In an inspired move, Col. DeBeers has been signed and thrown into a heel tag team with Cpl. Kirchner - The Boers, maanged by Freddie Blassie. They have a racist, evil foreigner gimmick, and have decided to attack Bruno and David Sammartino for no apparent reason. It seems to be getting over with fans, probably because they hate the Sammartinos.

I have also brought in Mr Saito and Tenryu, and launched them into a feud with the tag champions, The British Bulldogs. This is providing to be about as popular as cancer. The Bulldogs are also unhappy with their lot.

The Hillbilly Family (Jim, Cousin Luke, Uncle Elmer) have found themselves subject to brutal attacks by the Funk Clan (Terry and Dory Funk, Ron Bass, and manager Dutch Mantell). Ron Bass ran in and attacked Elmer with a chair, causing a humiliating loss to Iron Mike Sharpe (Hillbilly Jim refused to job). It's set-up for a six-man tag at Wrestlemania which surely no one will care about.

Bad News Brown has come in and debuted by viciously attacking Junkyard Dog during a match. Fans didn't like his 'street fighter' gimmick apparently. They can fuck off.

So this is after one week and three TV shows. If I can be arsed to continue, future plans include shocking heel turns for Andre, George Steele (joining the Dungeon) and JYD, who may start some kind of black militant group with Bad News Brown, the returning Tony Atlas and Butch Reed. Orndorff will also turn on Hogan at some point. I really wanted to do Pedro Morales turning on Tito Santana, but the fat cunt isn't wrestling anymore. Some kind of hideous beatdown of Billy Graham (brought in in a non-wrestling capacity) is also probable.

I don't blame you releasing the women, Barn. They can destroy overall ratings with their matches.

I tend to do a couple of weeks booking all in one go, then won't play it for a few weeks. The weekly shows can get a bit tedious when you've got all your feuds and matches for the PPV in place. There's only so much "A cuts promo on B", "B ambushes A" I can do before needing a break.

What I've played of it, yeah. Using a real world mod, obviously, and it feels a lot more accessible than other TEW games. One for EWR fans, for sure.
