the thing I love about FIFA this year is simple things such as all the different animations; for example, if one of your players is standing behind you and you want to pass to him, there's about 5 different variations of pass type that your player will use... also, no slide tackles are ever the same, the player you tackle always falls differently. Simple things like that all add up!

On another note, as much as Adriano's stats aren't the greatest, I've scored a good few crackers with him online and he seems an overall good player.

I struggle with corners and I think I've only ever scored from one once. The set pieces take a lot of getting used to, they're rather different to PES.

Power the power bar 4/5 up then vary the trajectory for the corners.

I am certainly getting better at this game. I just played online, I was Wigan, other guy was Bayern Munich. I played better than him, has more chances and then I score the only goal in the 90th minute. Zaki, who else! :chanlaugh:

I will use Wigan till I lose. Then I may have a crack with Hull.

My manager mode game has broken, I'm in my fourth season by just simulating the games, and got to the first game of the season away at Arsenal, I simulated it and it froze on 7% and has done it numerous times, I even played the game and then when it went back to the manager mode to simulate the other fixtures, it froze on 7% again... Anyone else know about this?

That's strange :erm: I really don't know mate, have you tried starting a new Manager Mode? See if it does the same thing or not.

I have loaded previous versions of the save, and it works fine, it just wont go past this one game.

I don't score corners very often. Seems a bit of a lottery, but the defender always seems to have the advantage. Same with free-kicks, I hit the post 2x and the bar twice as well, but it never rockets past the goalie.

With PES I was good with headers from corners and freekicks. Always loved it when I got a set piece as I know I could score from them but with FIFA I don't get excited because most of the time I can't even win the ball. It took me ages to get 3 achievements that involved the ball being crossed to score a goal.

I love doing the Be a Pro online. Especially when everyone picks a position. Sometimes I vary on the position but I find that I play best at right back. I do a good defensive job.

You were allowed a total of 42 players in 08 is that number still the same in 09? And are you able to EDIT player numbers ?

Be A Pro mode online, good when people don't fuck about...I also realized that when asked to pick a position-if you go to 'any' and people leave the game you end up playing about 4 positions!

one thing for FIFA 2010...they MUST improve goalkeepers reaction when you press for them to come out and get the ball!! they're clueless and usually fuck up and you end up conceding a goal!

When you play Be A Pro online, does the camera follow you, or the ball? I just tried a Be A Pro match as a centre back, and I lost loads of marks on position because I was always off-screen.

All I know is if the ball is far from you then the camera zooms out but if you have the ball it is behind you.

Aye, I'm all "Fuck me not another corner" whenever it crosses the line. Cue the annoyance when you do your best to curl it in, but no matter what the defender heads it away.
