Amen. The most sensible things I've read on this site now for a few days... also, they're not just 3 of the best attackers in the game, they're amongst the top 10 in the world! And it's not impossible to defend against them you just have to learn how, I find that the 'jockeying' feature is essential for me online when playing against the likes of Messi, Ronaldo etc - because without it they just cruise past you , but using jockeying you can easily read their movement and outsmart them!
I bet if you wrote some of that stuff on another thread you'd be branded a FIFA fanboy, ridiculous.
The reason that playing a fast passing game might be hard with shit lower league teams is simply because the players aren't capable, whereas with top teams you can easily play a slick passing game.
I know, the attitude of the majority of posters on this forum is beyond ironic. It's nice to know that certain people have a sense of reasoning. I also feel too many people want instantaneous gratification from a game, the whole point is that it should be difficult to defend against good strikers and it should be difficult to play excellent free flowing football... if it was easy, what is the point of it?
i still dunno why theres a fifa thread on a pes forum
ive heard about keeping your enemies closer and all but c'mon. i thought anyone that joined the forum is suppose to be a pes lover:erm:
There is a Fifa thread on a PES forum because there is the demand and interest for one, it's hardly surprising to discover that gamers interested in PES are also interested in Fifa.
Konami and EA Sports might be competing but as a gamer I am entirely indifferent to each company. In no way are either my enemy regardless of which game I'm currently playing, if you feel that strongly about a company then you're rather immature. When I joined the forum I did love PES2, though it was the game that I loved not Konami... just because they release a further game each year with the same name does not demand my continued affection. Up until the advent of the next generation consoles PES was the more realistic game, however on the PS3 and Xbox 360 Fifa and PES have exchanged roles.
I love football and therefore I'm looking for the most realistic simulation, the name of the company on the front cover is irrelevant.
I found that staying back and holding the trick/Ltrigger button(360) slows the fast players down. Eh, My problem now is this first touch. It's always very poor. :fplm:
If you're first touch is continuously letting you down, the likelihood is that you're passing the ball far too hard. You don't need to put too much on the power bar for simple, normal passes; halfway should suffice. Any more than that should only be used for longer passes or when you're perhaps playing a riskier ball and are concerned over interceptions.
Quitters are starting to piss me off on this game aswell. I've had 2 good beatings on this game so far. One was a 6-1 defeat to a guy on my friends list from an everton fansite when i'd just bought the game. And some jammy bastard managed to beat me 5-1 today despite me controlling most of the game. Everything he hit went in, annoyong as fuck but i don't see the need to quit. I just gave the lad a rematch and reversed the scoreline, lol. Should of been 6-1 but the keeper pulled of a great save.
Just finished a game there were i won 8-0 and fair play to the lad, he didnt quit. I've had wankers turn the game off when i've been 1-0 up for fucks sake. I just don't see the point if you're guna quit every time you're losing.....it's only a game man.
I couldn't agree more, if you beat me... well done. I can't believe the number of quitters there are online, it's undeniably ridiculous.
