In my 3rd season with Aston Villa, and I think I've made them the best that they possibly could be - I'm winning by cricket score-lines in most games on Legendary.

Very nice team. I started a MM with Stoke but never got round to it, after a couple of days. I'm too hooked into playing online lol. It's so addictive :lol: I've been playing pretty good these past couple days, beating dudes comfortably. My finishing has improved quite a bit. Before, I used to deserve the victory but due to me not taking the chances, I'd lose loads. But now I'm better :cool:

That's a brilliant team mate.

My first villa team was okay. I bought Owen, Riera, Jesus Navas, and a few others.

I managed 2nd in the league which i was fairly proud of!

It is quite easy to sign players on Fifa, I remember how much of a bastard it was to sign players on PES in the Master League.

It's piss easy to sign players on Fifa and it makes the game shit. Plus you can't even change the squad numbers so it takes the piss when your new striker has the number 2 shirt.

I was just thinking if EA release a downloadable update with the january transfers like they did with fifa 08..i wonder if they'll include players who arent in the game like Tosic, Rodagella etc etc

Just seen that PES9 is due for a february update. People are talking about new stadiums, boots, players, stats etc

Anyone know if Fifa are doing the same?

I know there will be a February update, but anyone have any idea what'll be in it? ? ?

Yeah I know what you mean. I guess they'll fix a few problems with the gameplay as well, probably nothing noticeable though. Does anyone find a big problem with chest control? Everytime one of my players use their chest to control, the ball flies off infront and gives them no chance of getting the ball. I think EA need to fix this in the next update.

Never had any problems with that before, though i'll probably notice it now you've pointed it out!

They did last year. The PS3 and 360 got every transfer from the January window, whether the player existed in the game beforehand or not.

I'd just like to be able to buy him and Arshavin in manager mode

It's frustrating because Arshavin is a brilliant player for Russia and he's my Arena player at the moment, but he's not at a club in the game so you cant get him!

Oh, right. I had it on the Wii this time last year and they didn't do all the transfers. I got rid of the Wii though~!

They should have "free agents" even if they're not free agents.
