The volleying is indeed sweet.
You can't beat one of those deep, right sided crosses that has gone beyond your two strikers only for your left winger to appear on the corner of the box to connect perfectly with the ball on the volley, even if it does fly over the bar or wide of the target, it's still ultra satisfying.

The fact that it was Wesley Sneijder's name in FIFA (I'm sure it was Sneijder) and is it not the name of a place in Amsterdam if my Dutch geography serves?

Anyone else notice that they occasionally announce Mikel (or possibly another black player, yes racist I know) as Lampard? Pretty amusing.

I've not to be honest mate no but I am annoyed with the constant talking about the new Wembley! Can't wait to play the full game and pick a different stadium!
Love the shouting of the full name when a striker for instance has a chance, whip a cross in and as Drogba rises to meet it Martin Tyler screeches "DIDIER DROGBAAAA" Brilliant stuff.
I hope he does the same thing in the lower leagues.

I think that's the big appeal for me, it always used to be the small things that set PES apart from FIFA to me, along with gameplay, and the tables seem to have turned.
I love the animations for the crossing and the heading, that was something I felt wasn't quite right in FIFA 09 and now they seem to have got it spot on, especially the diving header animations, Ribery met a deep Gomez cross this morning on one of my matches with a diving header, missed it quite badly but did that kind of diving header roll that players sometimes do, rather than just crashing to the ground, I love it.

Talking of the commentary, has anyone noticed how they sometimes talk as if they're treating as it is...someone playing it on a console?
Yesterday after I scored, I was running around doing various celebrations and Martin Tyler goes "Should he really be rubbing it in like this?" and Andy Gray replied "No, he should just cross the line." ...for those that don't know, crossing the goal line ends the celebration.
And I know FIFA's been criticised in the past for not giving the player freedom in what they're doing, and it was like that in 09 to some extent, but I feel free to do whatever I want to now. I'm not sure whether it's all down to the 360 dribbling or what, but it feels like you have full control.
One thing though...
Has anyone had the CPU take a FK that's worked well against them? Every time the CPU has had one against me, they've always given the ball straight back to me, completely wasting it. I'm not sure whether it's a bug or if they're getting unlucky against me.

Funny you should say that man, I conceded a goal from a free kick against Marseille in a match last night actually, great ball in from about the corner of the box and Niang nodded it in, unmarked I might add :angry:
The set piece creator is one thing I genuinely can't wait to get to grips with and have a play about with on the 2nd.

Same here. Sitting here playing it and I went "I'll stick the PES demo on..." then I got the biggest feeling of 'I can't be arsed' and continued playing FIFA.
Think it says it all.
