I ended up dominating every game soon after my previous post on this thread. I went on to win the Premier League with Aston Villa at a canter. Ultimately I grew tired of the opposition failing to bring different challenges and often being limited in the types of goals I would score. I was never much of a tricks n' skills user which seems to lead to a lot of the different goals in video compilations. I'd pull them out of the hat to beat a full-back and then whip in the cross. Or to do the last defender and go one on one with the goalkeeper. Or maybe just to buy a yard in midfield. Other times they weren't even necessary, a well measured ball or spotting a good run works just as well. But the actual finishes, and the angles at which they came from were often too similar in my experience.

FIFA 11 is a fantastic game. A few more tweaks and FIFA 12 could be the finest offering ever put out there. But for now I am back with Konami on PES 2011 to see exactly what they have to offer, and quite simply to experience a little diversity and excitement in offline single player.

I'd be interested to hear how your continued FIFA 11 experience goes, though. We had a similar timeline to success ratio it seems. So it'd be great to track how your experience progressed after mine came to an abrupt hault. Probably with you having the best gaming experience of all time, and I putting the boot through my HDTV at one cheating referee too many in PES 2011! :lol:

Phenomenal goal, with that flying in and the referee taking residence at the Olimpico I never stood a chance. Oh for the times when Juve had deep pockets, I'm still unsure how Matri missed that header at the end.

My connection to my PC completely went - my PS3 is connected to the internet through my PC. When I lose connection, I can usually press connect a few seconds later and then I'm good to go again. Unfrotunately, this time, I had to restart my PC, which was a shame, because I was on the counter-attack close to your area. Two-on-two, I think it was.

I could kill the assistant coach. His messages can be so annoying. You'll have a congested period of matches, so he'll suggest you rest a player, because he's tired. You do so, then he emails you again that you "hardly play" the player you just rested, even if he's your captain.

Yeh I hate that DF. Or I got a message from the board telling me that my position was under review even though I'd played like 18 games W 16 D 1 L 1. And the Draw and the loss were the first two games of the Ligue 1 Season.

I'm currently playing as Lyon in Ligue top after about 15/16 games 6 points clear and am finding it easy(World Class) even when I go down to 10 men but when ever I up the difficulty to Legendary I constantly feel like I'm being cheated in the game.

I would but the game seems to like to disconnect me for no reason during a match even though I experience virtually no lag. Sometimes it works perfectly well and I can finish 4-5 games in a row but that seems rarer nowadays.
