Man City feature in the demo? Fuck me.
Looking forward to this game, I just hope they fix, among other things, the tackling which is the most annoying thing in '11
The cut back goals, or the classic cut inside and shoot is a cert goal which also really needs to be fixed, dont even talk to me about the high through ball from kick off.

cut inside and shoot isn't 100%. The only 100% way in fifa would probably be the 2 strikers running at the keeper and pass it to the other for an open net. Otherwise the tackling should be a bit more difficult than it is now which is very easy to defend. Otherwise more features for Manager Mode are needed such as trading players and such.

Just dont have any passion for this game, although will prob pick it up as I'm a mug when it comes to football games, fifa 2008 was a real football sim(although lacking features) and since then the game has slowly gone back towards the gimmicky soulless fifa's of last gen.
Technically and animation wise fifa is a very good game but for me personally it just doesn't represent the feeling of playing football and all the nuances that come with it.
The most positive feature from fifa for me is manual play, and even that was dummed down slightly for fifa 11 and the pathetic AI of your team mates makes the fact you can play the ball anywhere somehow limited.
EA still dont seem to realise how crucial AI and player individuality is, they seem more concerned with online gimmicks, I respect how far fifa has come the past few years but its slowly returning to its average overly accessible best, looks good on surface with little underneath.

No it does not. I can list some great positives and if we're onto shift then all I can say is that you need to play it to understand it and it's possibilities.
