I played it in PS3 and XBox 360 .. and I think it's better than '13 and the pass are more easier .. shoots also better .. I think FIFA year after year trying to improve their game .. the Faces and the graphics are way better than '13
I liked the gameplay and the graphics ..
about the 360's version I think it's better than PS3's one .. Faster gameplay and more creative ..

I'm enjoying playing online/against humans a lot more than the CPU. Playing the CPU is even more annoying than ever (World Class). Every players is Messi and all the attacks involve long through-passes. I've started using L3 for movement, which definitely suits this game more than using the d-pad. I'm still getting used it, though. My thumb sometimes slips off, especially if I'm make sharp turns or reverse passes. I might invest in a controller with concave stick tops.

Yeah .. I'm too starting to use the L3 .. It's suits the game .. I just put the controller setting to CLASSIC .. R2 is sprint O for shoot .., etc ..
I tried with d-pad and my all passes were sucks .. but when started to use L3 the game were better for me ..

I played every PES and FIFA with d-pad .. exept for FIFA 14 I found it easier with L3 ..
but in PES I still use the d-pad it just gives u a nice control on the game and the player ...

Can you longer cancel runs? I've had some instances where I played a through ball, but decided to stop the intended recipient to stop, but they keep running. It also happened during clubs last night when Original? played a through ball and I was just offside. I could see Sweey overtaking me from an onside position so I tried to stop but couldn't.

I have been impressed that EA did fix the auto clearing to the forward. I feel a number of clears by the CPU are sloppy now and I have the chance to counter them by winning possession.
Overall, I feel like the CPU cheats less during offline matches. I had a list of CPU cheats from FIFA13 that I listed in this thread about a month ago and most of them appear to be gone or severely diminished.
I found that I like this game much better on slow setting and I even knock the human & CPU sprint to 45, acceleration to 48, and pass speed to 45 to create a more realistic feel.
I still want High Viz balls dammit.

i only intermittently play seasons. I have a psychological issue with losing to anyone but friends. And when I play, I can only get games against central/south american chosen sides, typically the same 3. Although with Neymar gone that may have changed for 14. I think playing at night subjects me to mostly new world players so it can become to monotonous. When I am playing seasons I typically change up my chosen club frequently. I was on a Leeds kick for a bit on 13, then West Brom, then Hamburg. I will have to start back up and see if I can fare better in 14 then I did in 13.

That's interesting, it would be nice to get an option of who you play in terms of demographics, just like you can choose to face an opponent on full manual controls if you wish.
But I suppose getting matched up with someone who isn't at the other end of the globe does help with reducing lag.

its probably more to do with timing. The greatest percentage of players at 3am Bolton time are likely to be kids from Las Cruces where it is 7 or 8pm. When I play Seasons on my saturday morning, I typically am up against a european team.
I am such a stickler, I don't even like playing an english team up against a mexican team. Its why on friendlies, I typically wait for someone else to pick so I can pick in the same country/league, or across leagues if a true CL type matchup.

Really? On the first day I played it, I conceded goals from cleared corners. It's worse than before. In FIFA 13 you at least had one of your players near the edge of the box. Now, you have three CPU players waiting for a headed out clearance: one by the D and two placed at the corners of the penalty area; and none of yours. You have to manually position a defender by the D. I try to head the balls away to the far post, using the lob header technique. It seems to work well enough. Otherwise, first time volley into the corner is guaranteed.
I usually play with one team per season. In the past, I've started with the Australian league and make my way through all the leagues all the way to MLS. I didn't get all the way to MLS last season because I won the D1 online with Bordeaux. :smug:

interesting, because I was noting over and over last night how it wasn't happening. I forgot to add, I turned down the CPU first touch ability to a 40. I read online that helps with the problem. I did it on day one so never noticed if it really had an effect on magical clearances.

i forgot until i played tonight. In addition to turning first touch down for the cpu, I also turned pass error up for the CPU to 62. I know you don't like messing with sliders, but sliders are your friend.
I like the cpu to make some errors every once in awhile, more realistic, and it does not become over-error. However, the last two matches were nice again without the cpu auto clearing to the forwards
