Well you'll probably find it the same in Fifa 15 I'd imagine. I did find myself clinging on at the end, had to do the ol' park the bus. Speaking of parking the bus, I hate that the commentators have to put such emphasis on that phrase, just because it's one of the new things introduced this year. So tacky.

My team of choice on career mode. Hearing James Henry's name being pronounced in the same way as Thierry Henry on occasion was bad form from EA. I noticed last night that they still mess up commentary names with Thierry Henry being called Henry as in Henry VIII or Henry the Hoover etc. Andy Keogh was the main man for me last year as well as Trotter and Feeney.

Feeney is quite useful for me so far (I'm Bolton... obviously), but I sold Trotter because his real life counterpart is useless.

Let's you position your players, give them individual instructions (when to push, sit deep, drift wide, play as target man, get in behind, cut inside, get in box/hang for crosses etc. Also lets you set team parameters on passing styles, defensive styles, shooting etc.

Had another ludicrous game on Career last night. A 4-4 draw away at Forest. I went 1-0 up. Then they got a fucking bullshit goal not too long after when my gk (again) stood there gawping at the ball when it was between his legs. Then they score straight after. Then I pulled it back to 2-2. Then they scored pretty much straight from KO. Not long after I drew level. Then they scored straight from KO AFUCKINGGAIN (score now 4-3 to them if you're losing track). Finally I drew level not long before the end of the match. Fortunately they didn't score straight from KO again, much to my surprise.

Anyone else get really annoyed by the CONSTANT World Cup references? Every high profile player gets an irrelevant WC 2014 recap of his performance by the commentator. This literally happens about twice a game, every game. Even weirder given the fact that I'm in 2016 on my career mode.

After a shocking start to my Bolton managerial career, I somehow managed to get promoted via the playoffs, mainly thanks to a fuck load of goals from Beckford of all people. Which leads me to the first of my 2 points - player contracts. His contract was expiring at the end of the season. He rejected my contract offer, and accepted a contract at Birmingham. How the hell do I sign players with expiring contracts? Can you only do this during the transfer window?
Another point is player loans. Bolton have a few loanees in the first season, including Mason and McNaughton. These players return to Cardiff at the end of the first season. Now in the second season, I notice players such as Ibe and Bamford are still at their respective loaned clubs (ie Derby and Boro). What's going on there? I don't think they had been resigned?

Ok, another rant coming here. Last night I witness the most ridiculous moment against the Legendary difficulty AI. Yes, I got the usual bollocks. You know, soft free kicks leading to goals, AI strikers magically beating my defenders for headers every time. But then I had a match against Swansea. They went 2 up, and I brought it back to 2-1. In about the 85th minute their player ran towards the corner flag. He then proceeds to rotate around the ball as if on an axis blocking my defender from getting the ball and out strengthing him with ease. No matter which way I turned, the attacker was on to me as everyone else stood there and gawped from a distance. My only option was to then slide in on him from behind. I mean, I could have brought an extra AI defender across, but I've found that to be pretty useless against AI opposition on legendary, so didn't even try.

I know, but honestly it was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen on Fifa. It wasn't even a big attacker holding off my defender, just seemed to have superhuman strength and control.
