I know, but honestly it was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen on Fifa. It wasn't even a big attacker holding off my defender, just seemed to have superhuman strength and control.

It's standard for them to have super strength and balance on Legendary. I'll try to convince myself I'm over it, but I'll swear my manboobs off when it won't let me even get anywhere close to the CPU player.

It's a shame uploading replays is such a pain, because I've been screwed over by absurd goals a few times now. The two worst goals I remember conceding was the keeper diving to save a shot, which sent the ball off the post, but into my keeper's head forward into my defender and the ball looped over my GK while he was on the floor. The other was after my GK caught the ball from a corner, I wanted to kick it upfield, but the CPU player was running back, pushed my defender into the the GK, who kicked the ball against the defender, with the ball conveniently landing at the CPU's feet for a tap in into an open goal.

Also, when the CPU is playing all out attack for the last ten minutes, it feels like they will get their head on long balls 90% of the time, even if, up to that point, you were winning pretty much all headers.

The scripting and momentum swing in this game is worse than ever.

Well it's been a few days since my last rant, so thought I was due another. My first annoyance of the day is the copious amount of slide tackles from the AI team! They're far too aggressive with them.
I'm not doing too bad with my career at the moment, but I'm pissed off because in the Jan window I was JUST unable to sign a 73-rated Ake for £1.5m. I tried to adjust my budget as much as I could, but I just couldn't make up his wage demands (it's annoying that they never budge on this!). 6 months later, now 76-rated, Chelsea are asking for £8m for him. Fuck off! It's also annoying that you have to always pay full wages when you loan someone.
Next annoyance is with the commentary team of Tyldesley and Townsend which I experienced in an international match. Quite possible the worst commentary I've ever heard in a football game. There's:

1) Tyldesley's "OH!" noise when someone takes a shot.... which he yells before the ball even gets close to the goal.
2) Tyldesley sounds so nasal at times.
3) Why do they fucking shout all the time?
4) Tyldesley's pronunciation of player names, including "Vonnsonn Kompany". Yes, it's probably technically correct... but it's so twattish.
5) It actually hurts my ears.

Last annoyance of the day is the youth players in career mode. I've signed a few to my first team and not one of them looks normal. I have a 17yr old midfielder who's pretty decent, but he's short and built like a brick shithouse... and has no neck.... and a beard.

I hate this fucking game.

In my second season with Boavista I somehow went into the final day of the season level on points with Benfica at the top of the table but needed to win by a margin of two goals greater than they did.

In the 94th minute of my game, I'm leading Gil Vicente 4-0 with some frankly insane attacking play. Benfica are winning 3-1. As it stands, I'll win the title on goals scored with an absolutely shit team whose highest rated player is 71 (the next best is 69). What do you think happens next? A series of one-touch passes I've not had the likes of Benfica, Porto or Sporting play against me before, some skill I couldn't stop despite having two defenders trying to take out the opposing player (I should have conceded a foul not had him waltz through considering he's weak), a perfectly weighted, lightning fast through ball along the ground from an obsence angle and yes, a goal for Gil Vicente with a brilliant finsh. Absolutely nothing I could do about anything.

I have lost the title by a single goal and I feel sick. If I'd been shit that is one thing but I refuse to accept that was the case here. This was another of those typical last-minute CPU guaranteed goals. I can't begin to tell you how shit the Boavista team is and how reliant I was on two signings - Stefano Pettinari (23 goals in the league) and Momar N'Doye (13 goals in the league and ridiculous pace). When they were both rested at the same time I was completely screwed.

I was 2-0 up and comfortable in a career game last night, against Southampton. Then they entered God-mode. Couldn't get near them. Perfect passing, movement etc. Players like Bertrand out-muscled players twice their size. My players went to shit.... you know, all the usual stuff. I ended up losing 4-2. The CPU team always manages to get so many players in the box, and always manages to find the perfect pass. The movement of my AI players pales in comparison. So static, even when I go all out attack (the only difference between balanced and all out attack seems to be that they stick a defender up front and the player postions are all over the place!).

Yep I've noticed this. At Boavista one of my two central defenders is playing up front, my right winger moves over to the left, my left winger disappears from my attacking moves. I didn't ask for any of that to go on! I wanted the midfield and wingers to seriously push forward ffs not have a free-for-all.

I avoid all out attack at all cost. A CB goes up front to form a front 4 of a 3-3-4, with one of the attackers dropping back. I prefer to go Ultra Attacking and manually change my player instructions individually.

on ps3, park the bus does absolutely nothing. It barely moves the fullbacks into position. I have never liked any of these options on fifa over the last several years as very little seems to happen when chosen.

the only diff I have noticed this year is all out where, as mentioned in the posts above, the CB will join in.

Why can't players be more aggressive and attack with more runs, players still sit like idiots. Saw my CAM move laterally for 20yds while on ultra-attack and slide behind me versus going towards goal.

The goalies are becoming another major gripe of mine against the CPU team. Not for making mistakes, or palming shots out straight to the opposition striker, but the way they react to shots. The CPU goalies seem to have almost super human reaction, they know where the ball as soon as it's hit. Whilst for my team, they seem to dive after the ball has passed them, or just let it go past them without even diving.
I really should stop playing this because it's driving me mad. More than any PES game ever. But I want to win everything with my Bolton team... if the game will let me! My team is getting decent enough now, but good players cost a lot and require massive wages, here's my team so far:

I played a game yesterday with a friend (co-op) on Legendary against Schalke (as Roma) - 4-4 HT, 5-5 FT. Schalke had 5 shots on target. De Sanctis could have saved all of them, but either stood and watched them go in, or as you said, dived after it past him. So frustrating. Happens online too.

GKs also dive with their hands close to their chests, as if they're playing poker, rather than fully stretch. That's something that used to annoy me in PES but, judging from videos, that seems to have been fixed. If the final version of PES 2015 is good, I could spend more time playing Master League than FIFA.

Not being able to use OF's on PES is a dealbreaker for me though. That and lack of stadiums. La Liga being licensed is cool, but having around 15 stadiums in the game in total is piss poor.

Should be able to use OF's, just not kits as far as I know. Stadiums is a non issue for me, I mean... how much of the stadium do you actually see when you're playing?

The stadium thing wouldn't be as much of an issue if the kits/logo's were able to be sorted out. It's bad enough that teams like Burnley and QPR will be defaulted to some huge stadium in Asia that doesn't even closely resemble their own.
