just wondering whoever is getting the actual game of this would they be intrested in making a 5 a-side team on the 5 v.s 5 online play (xbox360 only thats what i have)

I found the demo to be rather rubbish. I managed to hit the bar from 40 yards with a Tevez volley. Keepers are hopeless an' all, Valdez palmed a pretty gentle shot and it went miles in the air.

On the PS3 it's 'O' and then 'X' (how original), but I'm not sure if its the equivalent on the Xbox.

Ok thanks. I change my controls to PES so it's X to shoot square: on PS3) instead of B circle: on PS3) so it should be X then B.

It does sound bad, but the "be a pro" mode is enough for me to get this game.

i thought it sounded allright not as much complaining about the gameplay as the other fifa's , just the things which aren't right e.g the bit about plymouth not playing at wembely , the be a pro mode sounds cool and the 5v5 online play sounds even better and don't forget this is just one persons opinion

Just played the Demo...

The gameplay is better then last years. They turn slow with the ball, and its a bit difficult to defend in the midfield but its alright. The goalies give far rebounds. The graphics are very good I thought when they show clips. They all look a bit over wieght but its still okay.

I played the Fifa 08 demo on the 360, it was abolute rubbish, the game play was slow as hell.

The best bit of the game is when its loading, you get to do tricks with Ronaldinho.

Well I think Wan is onto something. I was passing HMV today and saw what I thought looked like PES, but with amazing graphics... As I got closer I realised that it was FIFA. I was totally in awe because after playing the PS3 demo, I totally wrote this game off. I couldn't actually stop playing it.

This seems to be the game that EA have been talking about. The demo is nowhere near the version I played in HMV on a 360. I mean it looked amazing and I didn't want to stop playing it after five minutes which I did with the demo.

FIFA 2008 is amazing. I have hated FIFA since 2000, seriously, if you read my past posts, but I was so so shocked today after playing it. I even considered buying it in a few weeks as a build up to PES which I have never done. Graphically it has gone up a knotch and the sweatty faces look amazing. Also the whole "cloth" system has really been improved with some really nice shirt textures and creases (compared to the demo where they are laughable). I was the last one in the shop because I couldn't stop! And I had time to kill (until 6pm which happened to be when the store closed)

Thing is I really want to go back and play it. I can't believe how much better that was than the demo. It also makes me more excited for PES as that is supposed to be even better. I think the gameplay of FIFA is almost an exact rip off of our beloved PES now, and the speed was better, there was more of a contrast between normal dribbling, but it could still have done with being a little faster.

The only bad point I can say is that the player likenesses are way off. But that is literally the only bad thing I can say about it now.
